I understand that it takes time for the devs to find / test the bugs that we report , but surely it shouldn't take them forever to find the ascii code string that states how the hoard enchant works !!!!
Seriously though , when will they actually accurately update this tooltip ????????????
(a) ...they can't be bothered.
(b) some hapless newbie might spend much RL cash on getting many AD to upgrade them. If they fix the tooltip, this wouldn't happen anymore.
(c) referring to "will look into whether that might've been too much" is easier - still collating data.
(d) maybe they don't find the code for that tooltip.
(e) does it really matter any longer?

I see tooltips as guidelines only. Many of them say things like "there is a chance that".... Cryptic is really bad at giving strong rules. Perhaps that is so they can change things more freely.
It may be low priority now , but they sure as hell neferd the HAMSTER out of it when they realised how much rp we were able to get when it functioned previously .
Still it would be nice to see a company being " honest " when they change something so that it completely no longer functions they way it is / was described .
When they actually state a " percentage value " in their tooltip that is a defined parameter .
The others only state " a chance " so that they can keep the actual percentage chance unknown and keep the " gamblers " out there who continously buy using RL cash .
So changing an item from a known percentage chance to something whose functunality is currently being guessed about isn't particularly Kosher in my case .
If they don't want us to know then change the tooltip to the obscure wording version tooltip , but DON'T give us an actual value and then change it so that we can NEVER get that ........
So instead we get the free RP by the million without them in IWD, and unbound at that. It also ruins the map for anyone trying to do quest because the lag's so horrible half the players can't even move properly, let alone fight. Call me a monkey's uncle, but restoring the old hoard's workings would have been a much wiser choice. At least the bots can't profit nearly as much from those.
I would argue that the bots were the only ones profiting from Dragon's hoard enchantments. Either way they need to do something with them. Right now they don't seem to do anything

Bullcrap.
regular players never got obscene amounts of RP from dragon hoards. I crafted myself four greater. was running around with 12% on me and i never got anything to write home about. but i am a NORMAL average player who does the dailies and then a few dungeons and maybe hangs out in WoD doing heralds and tiamat for a couple hours.
please don't write stuff that isn't true for the majority of players.
this nerf Cryptic did is tantamount to corporate fraud. it's theft of my real world money, i spend a lot of money just to get those four enchants. and they turn around and make them basically useless month later; a total ripoff.
imagine if you bought a car paying for as advertised at point of sale and the dealership pressed a button a month afterwards decreasing it's top speed and range by 75%

Bots were profiteering from the ridiculous costs of the rp that was extremely limited to actual players from other sources.

you would be seeing a lawyer.
Now your describing everything that happened with Mod 6. Spent a lot of money on stuff, within 2 months, worthless. Sounds like an MO.

They nerfed Dragon Hoards to restrict players RP then altered HEs to flood the market with RP. Do they have any plan at all?

Hmm. Kinda like spending hours of real world time grinding for annual "event" currency (Summerfest, winter fest) and then just before they bring the event back - BAM all your event currency is vanished out of your accounts.
