Right after maintenance, and before servers crashed again, I managed to test Aspect of the serpent. It works! well, almost as intended!
So, here is the issue with it! It only stacks twice! first hit and 2nd hit, 3rd hit does not apply a 3rd stack. so, its technically still broken, at least not as broken as before.
When we read that something is "fixed" and will be patched in "soon", then wait 2-3 weeks, we kind of expect for the something to work properly. and in case that something is not working properly, we become sad pandas. Imagine this situation: you like to drink Budweiser Black Crown, but your favorite store doesn't have it, but the manager promises you that they will have it next week for you, so you order a 12-pack, it doesn't show up, but you get another promise, and finally you get your 12-pack only to open it and find 9 bottles instead of 12, and another promise. what would you do now? many people would just drive an extra 10-20 mins and buy their beer elsewhere.
The difference is that a store cant open a 12-pack to check the number of bottles, but the Neverwinter crew can test their content before posting it.
So, did anyone else managed to test this? did I misread any tooltips or anything? am I going too far being mad about not getting my beer? i mean the class feature...
thanks for reading! and Cryptic, keep up the good work at making things work! almost work at least...
So, I misread the tooltip for aspect of the serpent?
To be honest, I haven't read the tooltip for it in forever. I know how it works when I play my HR so not much of a point in checking. This game is notorious for not having updated tooltips though. Throughout mod 5, my DC's Forgemaster's Flame said it still provided healing, which it no longer did.
Yeah, so the max stack is 2x. It used to be 3x long before.
Ok, I guess I am on the wrong here :P but I still have a question to the Devs, Is it intended for the encounters that don't do damage to consume a stack of AotS? ex: Fox Cunning consumes a stack.
it says "each buffed attack" reduces the stacks by 1, so a buff encounter is not an attack, and hence it should not consume a stack?
While not a dev, it is always how it worked. This is why I'll use Fox's cunning in the 3 or 4th power in the range rotation, just to build up the melee stacks instead of wasting the range stack.

Not a bug.
