First piece of (new) T2 gear but what should I really be trying to get?

Level 70 PvE Renegade SS CW.

Got Elemental Alliance Assault Shoes in a drop from a run a few nights ago.

After looking at all of the choices, I'm wondering what a PvE SS Rene should actually be trying to get? What are you folks running or looking for?

I don't PvP at all on this toon but is Elemental Burning Raid a better option? I'm still a bit confused by all the new options.

    Elemental Alliance is T1, it's the empowered version of the standard blue T1.

    The T2 set is only acquirable through seals of protector and it's called Elven Alliance/Raid, or Elemental Elven for the empowered version.

    And to actually answer your question, get the set pieces you need based on stats. You don't need to wear 4/4 anymore, since there's no set bonus, you can mix-and-match the pieces however you want and you should actually do that.

    Point taken and . . . let me wipe the egg off my face in regards to the T1/T2 confusion. Too many "purple" items to keep track of.

    An additional question then - are fellow SS Renegades stacking power and arm pen or spreading it out across Power, Crit and Arm Pen?

    I went with the following to maximize base gear crit:
    Elven Raid Cap
    Elven Raid Armlets
    Elven Assault Robes
    Elven Assault Shoes

    Losmauth's Hoard Necklace
    Golden Belt of Puissance
    Lostmauth's Horn of Blasting
    Sigil of Controller
    Lanter of Revelation

    Ioun Stone is using 2x Ring of Loyal Avenger & Girdle of Striker.

    Without Prestidigation (or any buffs) I have 60% crit chance, 62.2% resistance ignored, 20,698 power.
    I'll gain 400 power on armor reinforcements at some point.

    All offensive slots are Radiants/Bonding.

    As I see it, our main damage source (storm spell) triggers from crit only! Helps for lostmauth set too if equipped.

    Great info. I have 2/3 Lostmauth. Not enough AD for the Horn yet.
