Zen Market Companions

Sorry if this has been asked before.
I purchased a companion from the Zen Market last night, in hind sight not really sure why. Anyway, is this bound to one character or can I get it for all my characters?
I only asked as I bought and bound to my main and when I switched to an alt I couldn't find it anywhere.

    It is able to be transfered to any character UNTIL you bind it. Once you bind the companion it is for that character ONLY

    Ah ok... possibly should have given it to one of my alts. Nevermind. Thanks for the quick response.
