I find my 80k HP CW being torn to shreds by the trash mobs of the devs-were-too-lazy-to-create-a-real-new-area-so-they-just-copypasted-gauntlgrym Fiery Pit. If I can't keep everything frozen/entangled 100% of the time, I get down in no time.

If you're new to Mod 6, than it's not a bug.
Mobs are hitting way harder, that's why you need to get the new Mod gear stacking HP and get more tanky.
Playstyle adjustment is also a must. Play a bit and you will learn that gathering 30+ mobs and hitting a daily as a CW will not work as good as it used to.

You may have failed to read the original post. 80k HP cannot possibly be the level-60 gear, High-Vizier or whatever.
I still think there is a bug in the armour or scaling or whatever. Fiery Pit is not en endgame area, wearing endgame gear you should not instantly die to trash mobs.

Take Entangling Force out of your rotation and use another AoE control power.
I still think there is a bug in the armour or scaling or whatever. Fiery Pit is not en endgame area, wearing endgame gear you should not instantly die to trash mobs.
As long as you do not aggro more than 3-4 at any time you should be more than fine with that much HP (80 is huge, i am doing it with 51)
If you aggro more, well - that is entirely your fault. With this new mod devs want to say - get good, fight smart of give us money/buy health stones (pots will not save you in battle). If you don't wanna give them money - don't get hit more than 2 times in any given fight if you are soloing ! As i said - fight smart and is doable with 29k less health and less than 1700 iLvl.
My CW completed Fiery Pit in High Vizier (30-40k HP) with shield on tab and angel of protection.
A CW with 80k HP should not experience difficulty in Fiery Pit, except for some heroic encounters.
Agreed. I got through it with 32k HP wearing the templar draconic set and a purple alchemist summoned. The time of factanking is over. Find a good rotation and take it 1 mob at the time.
The thing is - 99% you cannot take 1 mob at the time when they are in groups almost everywhere.
In fact i was not actually talking about Fiery Pit because i have never been there (except for 10 sec talk quest once). My words were from experience in Shar, D Ring 3-4 mob groups and IWD 3 wolves/raiders or even 2 bears with that 51k HP and less than 1700 iLvL, but i know FP is way easier than these and somewhat like Spinward zone. I never use shield (except for some bosses and control resist enemies) because i would lose 1 encounter for it. Vs bears i cannot survive 2-nd hit so i do not let them hit me 2 times in the same battle while carefully evade front and back trying not to go near other mobs in the area.

I went through Sipnward with 25K HP, and no shield. Didn't go through it as easily as my GWF, in AoW, but easier than my DC in HP.

CW has a dodge. And a Shield. And Repel. Try using a healing pet and make some better use of your CC powers.
I am sure that if I made it on my SW and having none of the things you got except a couple small CC powers.Well keep at it. Just go to AH and pick up some blue high hit point armor. All this mod did was turn up the damage and your only option is to have more hit points to take it.Good Hunting... Also you can make you an SW play it for a time then come back to your CW .You will then think it is the best thing since white bread.:cool:

I think it's because your character is getting old and infirm. Just can't keep up with those "young" heroes anymore.

Those are from the invoking circle in the enclave if it matters.
