There are plenty people here that have been vote kicked from dunegons, either from others trying to ninja steal their boss fight (2 or 3 people join a group that are on the last boss, starts VK people for the rest of their guild to join) or just from having the wrong class or gear.
My solution is that if you join a PUG, a VK should not be possible. You fight with the group you have joined... if you don't like the group then you have the option to leave.
If you actually want to play with your guild mates, well then it's easy as well... just join a dunegon with a full squad of guild mates.
If you are a party before you join a dunegon, the PUG should not try to put people in your group and you should be able to invite other players yourself to that group so they can join the same dunegon as you are in.
This should solve some of the problems in my oppinion. Besides, the GS required for several dunegons should be higher, that could solve some of the problems as well.
The vote kick is needed but is implemented pretty poorly. There would be a lot more problems without it, e.g. someone has been disconnected for half an hour and no one else can take that slot, or just sitting afk for the whole dungeon.
My main problems with it is the fact that someone can keep voting to kick you until everyone gets fed up and says yes.
If there was an option in the queueing to only join fresh dungeons then I would always select that to avoid people vote kicking every time you join mid-end dungeon and you aren't the class they want.
Edit: They should add the ability to select the preferred role for empty slots so then people won't be able to join and get insta-kicked.
Edit 2: Just full of ideas today... When the queue finder comes up with the people that have accepted to join instead of showing green images it could show the class images instead, thus being easy to see if they already have a cleric or not. They could also show whether the dungeon is already in progress or not, though that's pretty easy to tell.
I feel the issue with the abused vote kick system could be solved with changing to a timed system, eg 1 vote per 30 mins or so, and if you join in a already in progress dungeon you shouldn't be allowed to vote for 30 mins, it would completely remove the ninja steals and insta kicks currently plaguing the game.
If you don't like the team your with then your free to leave. This I feel would be the fairest way to do this. But its not like PW will ever listen.
this is a problem.............game breaking for me, who wants to spend hours going around in circles looking for a group, i can understand now why destiny does not have matchmaking for raids, all it takes is two to vote kick out of five, it should be atleast 3, everytime i get asked to vote kick i vote no, but it makes no difference
That's just because of the "difficulty" ( ok once u've done it a couple times u can complete it drunk/high/with one eye/with one hand ) of the raids on destiny, when we take a new player on both raids theres a high chance he make us fail if he didnt understand everything we said, now imagine 6 players like that together they would never manage anything.
Here, things are simple so far, most of the time its mostly the group comp that cause trouble, exemple if you dont have a CW while its highly required, it make things harder.
The vote to kick issue is getting absurd, today i qued up with a buddy of mine entered craigmire crypts just the two of us no big deal we are decently geared for the raid nearing 9k gs not the wow factor but sufficient for the raid and decide to clean some trash at the start while we wait.
A few minutes pass and two more people join sweet a healer and a hunter ranger i am a SW and he is a rouge with in 15 seconds im thrown into the loading screen and i hear him say a vote to kick me has been initiated his response hu there is only four of us why even think of kicking anybody unless we have five and someone is not pulling weight. A couple of seconds pass and i ask if anyone has joined in what i think is about to be an atempt by me to rejoin since he is on my friends list and joining friends is what playing online is all about ill be back to that in a minute, however he said uh a SW just joined we still have room tho. And once again a few seconds pass and the new SW is vote kicked as well with the same comment from my buddy as before. They wait an additional several minutes before getting a new player a hunter ranger and the cycle continues.
Why i ask? and there clearly is no true anwser to that question other then they had the ability to do so. Maybe it should be reserved for the party leader to initiate a kick call. Anything would be better then it is now.
Going back to joining in with friends under my social tab i see it says my friend is in craigmire crypts instance #20 so i click join it waits a few seconds and then gives me a small error saying im not in his current instance and i cannot join, maybe its just me but no du im not in his instance im trying to join it so we can continue were we both left off prior to me being kicked for some unknown reason and continue playing together, and this error message that is displayed does not even fit in the box it is to be displayed in obscuring the accept or cancel button which i think is to funny in the first place.
So i guess my initial question is how does two people hold enough power in a group of four to be able to kick an individual out and significantly hinder the progress of the overall group? Even more so when there presence has just began?
Secondly what is the purpose of having friends if you cannot join them to help out on dungeons while they are in a dungeon that is significantly under staffed, i can understand that an issue with this thought process is the root of the kick, what keeps individuals from doing a hostle take over on any idungeon at that point, if they can have the ability to join in wih friends at any point of the raid, however this would not be an issue if you simply limit the stupid kick feature.
While it will not solve the vote kick in problem in general, one solution would be to allow those kicked to retain the checkpoint. Just yesterday, a friend of mine and I made it to the boss in T2 dread vault with a PUG. After two near kills, two players from a Guild ended up kicking the 3 non guild members. This meant that all three of us wasted an hour of our time.
Agreed its getting ridiculous. Its bs that people put time into these dungeons only to get kicked. I was in one yesterday where whenever someone joined someone kept voting to kick because they wanted a healer. The amount of time it was taking to just start the final boss because of waiting for a **** healer. I voted no but people got kicked anyway. Another time I made it all the way to the final boss only to get kicked as soon as we got there. Waste of time. This needs to be fixed. Why not have the ques set up so that one of each class is in. If someone disconnects they should be disconnected period, not just sitting there on disconnect. That way someone else can join immediately. How about no kicking half way through so its not such a waste of time. This really needs to get sorted out. I am sure something can be done, just a matter of someone doing something about it.
If devs would just implement a system a lot of other MMOs use that requires you to specify your class role (ie: DPS, Tank, Healer, etc) it would solve a lot of problems, plus it would means always being grouped with a Tank and Healer. You may find less kicking at that point.
Just earlier today myself and my group ran Epic Vaults to final boss then two of the group members had to leave one to pick up kids from school, the other to help his mother. So like usual we wait for some one that joins from que and next thing I know IM being voted on to be kicked though I was Top DPS with the Highest Gear Score and ran the complete run. Others in the party who I had been on the headset talking to the whole time acknowledged this and also spoke up on my behalf to not kick me but it was too late. WTF! This is not the first time this stupid **** has happen to me either. During this past week alone this stupid **** has happen to me three other times that I can recall. I tried quickly re-queing to try and rejoin my group and after the third attempt I actully found my group but they quickly kicked me I was in the group long enough to see and over hear the group chatter that the run was being stolen by a group of friends who were in fact kicking everyone who actually ran the dungeon out, just so they could ninja the last boss.... ARC needs to put a stop to this ****. I understand kicking if some one is a complete ****** or goes AFK, disconnects what have you but when a group runs the entire run to the last boss and people from que just join they should not be able to kick anyone, especially the ones who put in the hard work getting there. If ARC does not care about fixing this issue soon then IM not going to continue playing this game and further more tell my friends to discontinue as well.
Vote to kick is vastlyl abused. I am either kicked because some one else is the same class or I am not the healer they were looking for. The end game has become unplayable for me becasue of this.
kicked out of 2 dungeons today back to back. first by replacements that joined at the end, second because i died...
I am done playing this game until this is fixed or removed, console players just suck they will kick as soon as they get a chance.(i assume younger kids)
Either use unanimous vote to kick, take it out, or keep track of the people that are starting the kick requests and disable their option if used too much.

This is my point as well. Take my scenario on for size. Joined DD hourly event with 10mins to spare. Had the highest CW I have ever seen with GS over 14k was kicked because they didn't want to fight with other CW so tried to kick them... Who by the way was at the polar opposite of this spectrum but was in the dungeon with guildie and one buddy. (more on this later)
So I chalk it up to just bad luck I started to leave then but we had a healer and trying to find a group with -10mins to go on delve event I threw the dice. These three kept dying even at second boss. But the CW was the worse. I carried them all the way to the final boss where we kept dying because the CW and the 2 HR buddies just could not keep up.
I finally told them after the healer left that this is what happens when you bring guildie into a dungeon in which you are ill prepared. The CW had ok gear with no enchantments... Not one! so wonder they were only at 8900!
They blamed it on the DC. I told them no its CW to because they need to pull agro so I don't have to dodge ice golem explosions ever 2 secs... They were quiet. After getting killed two more times I finally voted to kick the CW at this point I did t care what was coming next. I didn't know the second HR was in cahoots at the time. Any other person in their right mind wouldn't kick a 12k TR for a -9k CW. By the way, its the worst dungeon for a CW to try and run at that level.
Needless to say my vote failed and I was immediately ejected from that hour and a half waste of my life.
I said all of that to say this... Even if they fix the problem and limit kicks there will always be messed up situations where an ill informed knucklehead decides to screw over the group because they want to skip steps and charge dungeons they shouldn't be trying yet. Oh and I was very pissed.

A good 75% of those that i have got responses from when asked about kicking someone sound like they are well out of their teens.
