Newbie question about campaigns.

foxdvdrulesfoxdvdrules Member Posts: 2 Arc User
Ok so I am level 60, and have done all of the epic dungeons. I am about to hit my third boon on the first campaign. I keep getting mixed information on how to unlock the other campaigns? I still only see the original Tyranny, and have no missions from Knox to start new ones. Do I need to clear all normal missions on the map? I have 2 achievements left for missions I have not done, and I was thinking I needed to do all of them before I had access, but I can't find any firm information on it. Thanks for your time.

I totally had the same question when I started :) Basically, you have to complete the compaign portion you are on and then you get access to the next. So, first you have to "help" the folks in Neverdeath graveyard 5 times. You've shown your dedication and support to their cause (blah, blah, blah, blah) so now they want you to go help the folks in Ebon Downs, you help them 5 times... right now I'm "helping" the folks in Whispering Caverns. I think each one is 20 hours long and you do need to have the pieces to start the task. Each day you should hit the area for the daily quest from the local harper and then from Harper Bowen. He gives you the sigils in the beginning I think where you get your coins and secrets from neverdeath and ebon downs ? I think. The local person will give you a daily random, like grave swapping and to kill the dragon. Higher up in the chain you will be able to get quests from the harper in Rothe Valley and Whispering Caverns. Their dailies will give you sigils in addition to the daily Enclave campaign quest. I think to unlock LoL you need like 20 sigils and further up the chain you need the secrets?

Right now I pretty much do this every day:
    1. Complete campaign
    2. Start next campaign
    3. Go to Harper in Enclave, get daily (when week is up also get killing dragons)
    4. Go to the zone that the enclave daily is in
    5. Pick up the dailies from the harper there - complete those three
    6. Go to Rothe Valley
    7. Go to Whispering Caverns

At this point, I only go to ND, ED or IS if the daily is there. For comparison my 60 GWF is to the campaign level before LoL and Shores, this is working on campaigns every day for the last 2.5/3 weeks ish? My 58 CW I just started so I'm still doing dailies in ND because I haven't finished the first campaign yet... make sense?

Sure hope so because I'm *cough* at work *cough* and a little distracted. Sorry!
Yes, I'm female. No, you can't see my HAMSTER.

Level 60 Great Weapon Fighter - Caimeta
Level 60 Guardian Fighter - Princess Clappy
Level 60 Control Wizard - Rashenbo
Next up... Butcher of Lock Love
I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code

I would say it was probably cr4p or something akin to it, if OP is Southern, it is nigh guaranteed.

    On topic:
The Tyranny of Dragons campaign is the only one currently released, data wise at least. The latter half or so of it is planned to be released as the Ryse of Tiamat. (see what I did there? ;p ) The info for this can be found on the Arc Portal at http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/9004053 and also http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Rise_of_Tiamat

This is the answer I was looking for. I did not know only one campaign had been released so far...so I guess I will just keep working on my last few boons on this one...

And the word that was edited? I don't want to get in trouble and get around the edit if it is a banned word but it seems silly if it is...it starts with a N ends with a B and is 4 letters long and points to players that are new to a game...

The campaign missions are easily soloable. Obviously this doesn't include the skirmish or dungeon though.

dafaq? **** is banned? There is nothing at all with that word afaik, and I've been playing MMOs for the decade if not more, since just before Navyfield by Nexon was released, and crashed. Heck, I have referred to myself as a **** so many times, it simply isn't derogatory in pretty much any manner either, ask anyone who has played any online game, they'll give you the same answer. Ugh, censoring ingame is simply weird, can't say got ( I assume it is due to it translating somewhat to god auf Deutsch? ), now the forums? What is life?
Maybe it is due to it's Feminism or something, who knows?
