ok so ive been level 60 for a while and i have a 10.4k GS TR. what is the best method to make astral diamonds? ive seen loads of guides but i like other people want to know what truely is the best way to make them? I would like the quickest and and not hard method.
ok well, i used to farm T2s constantly and hope for drops (T2 4 set piece helms/tops/weps) all sell for good AD but are pretty rare can take a lot of runs (or you can get lucky and they drop a lot for you, rng is rng)
once i unlocked shores and lostmauth i ditched farming t2 and started farming shores/lost instead, they are much quicker runs and you can get multiple things from the chests at the end that sell. gems, bones and other stuff. also the rings, necklaces draco helms/tops sell ok to at the moment. i been making a lot more ad a lot quicker since i started farming these 2 instances.
problem is though the loot from these 2 instances will loose value soon, already seen it happen with dragon gems, 1-2 weeks ago i was selling dragon gems for 130-150k... now they go for only 60k as everyone start completing the draconic sets and accessories there will be not much ad to be made here either
edit - also always do ya dailys first thing when you log in, all of them... skirmish, dung and pvp. do that before start farming t2/shores/lost. its what i do anyway and i normally make on average 200k ad a day, sometime a little less sometimes a little more.
Devoted cleric rule number one = We cant cure stupidity so no heals for fools ^.^
Use the current astral diamonds that you have without "buying your way through" to purchase Zen in the Astral Diamond Exchange, then use the Zen that you received without "buying your way through" to sell for astral diamonds at a higher rate.
gaanjaa81 didn't tell you to break out the credit card. He simply said "buy zen, sell zen" which you can do without spending a dime.
That said, I spent $20 on a Honey Badger because Honey Badgers are awesome and I recognize that a company cannot pay their bills if they make $0. I am enjoying Neverwinter on XB1, so I choose to support it with money so that it doesn't die. I have spent $60 +tax on a ton of other games that were nowhere near as fun, so if you feel that I'm "buying your way through" the game, that's fine.
The other thing you could say is "Thank you to the people that spend money in Neverwinter so that I can play for free." - But from your "Hey, look at me, I can get something for nothing! I'm soooooo cool!" attitude, I would say that gratitude is a life lesson far removed from your playbook.
One thing I've noticed, is that a lot of times you will get more AD from salvaging than selling on the AH. Though it's rough AD and you can only get 25k a day or whatever.
I used to grind dungeons but it gets really repetitive and I hate the bugs and kicking.
Lately I've been trading thru the ah and making a lot. Buy stuff that you know sells or know people need for gold, sell it on ah. Buy low on ah and post back up. Find low auction items (kinda have to search specifically for these, t1 sells for a couple hundred ad) and salvage. I've made a couple mill in the past 2 weeks flipping thru the ah.
Considering you're looking for the easiest method with the least work, it's safe to say that none of the methods are best for you. People aren't just going to give you ****, work for it.
0) Have multiple characters. Having 6 or 8 characters makes it much easier to make AD, Ill explain later. I recommend a min level of 11 for each, 30 is preferred, 60 if you have no life This is primarily to get extra profession slots, but level 11 is needed to Pray. Double XP events = level up those alts!
1) Leadership. After about rank 13 Leadership really starts to pay off. If you have 6 characters at level 30 and leadership 10+ you will have 24 profession slots. At 13 you can get 400 AD per slot on normal jobs and 1,600 if the rare diamond job is up. At 400 per slot you can make 9600 Diamonds in about 8 hours, if the rare job is available then multiply that by about 3 (can only cue it 3x per character, if you have the required material). I'll normally spend 2 slots on gathering requirements and 2-3 slots on just Diamonds. The more profitable rare jobs make it worth the time it takes to gather their requirements. Best part is, none of that takes any actual time playing.
2) Run dungeons. Between the AH and Salvaging you will get a ton of AD from dungeons. If you get purples that aren't Bind on Pickup, always check their salvage worth before putting them on the AH. Unless they are set pieces you probably will get more by salvaging.
3) Send all BoE purples to your alt characters. Your main, that runs the dungeons, will earn so many diamonds his refine limit will max out every day, just off BoP gear. So send that BoE gear to your alts and have them salvage it. On a good day I might max out the refinement of 3 or 4 characters. Note: They DO NOT need to be level 60 to salvage. Any character in the city can salvage.
4) Buy low, sell high. If you feel you are a good trader, try to play the markets. Zen moves slowly, it might only change 2-3 points per day, and most days it travels in the same direction, so trying to turn a profit with it might be a slow game. the AH is volatile and risky, try your best. Refinement items and upgrade items sell the best (always a need for them).
5) have patience. People who spend money are the impatient ones, if you want to save money, you need to be more patient than they are.
the best way is to make enchantments like rank 5 6 and 7 and 8s. at least once the economy stabilizes thats how i did it. its the best most reliable way imo.you can get rich doing it.

You're welcome.

Also you've probably read this but it's still a pretty thorough guide in a bunch of ways to make ad.
