Cannot Sync Account Data?

So I turned on NW to try and see what the update was for. To try and play. Got the message, cannot sync account data. Its funny. I actually laughed at this next part.

It gave me the option to try again, or.....or play offline...a mmo. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OFFLINE HAHAHAHAHA.

No I will not post a ticket. Not to worried. Was on right before maintenance to pray, everything fine. 8 hours later....LoL lets try it offline. Wait. Its a MMO. Nope.

Sure it probably is an easy fix. But with support. Waiting 72 hours (possibly) to get my problem noticed, then either it gets fixed or a do a back n forth blah blah blah. Seriously this is a joke.

With the dungeon kicking, more fun leveling then being max level(my opinion), the horrendous chat issue, and the lost keeps going....

In conclusion, I really like this game. But lack of devs fixing big issues, and a sad player base(no offense to you people that kick for the right reasons, and no offense to the people who use a MIC and don't spam chat), I think I'm done. I wish the game well, but at this point its like beating a dead horse. Just like this thread. Seriously its sad to go on the forums and have to actually look to find threads that aren't whining about this or complaining about that. Should be a big message to devs to fix their ****.     I just received this message as well. Its funny though, since I was playing the game earlier today, but now it doesn't want to run. My only confusion is, why does it need to sync data? I've played several other MMOs (including other free-to-plays) but I have never had a game attempt to sync my data before. I find this rather interesting actually... color me weird~ :p I hope it gets resolved soon.

    I as looking at the same message too. I played earlier today without an issue after the "maintenance" and now this. I am also getting tired of the issues. I understand this is a new game but come on?? I spoke with a couple of players that told me they spent $1,500.00 real money just opening boxes. So I am sure the money is coming in. I spent about $100.00 myself...

    Unplug the Xbox for 30sec, plug back in and connect. Should fix it.

    Just tried that and it did not work. Any other suggestions?

    Going offline worked for me, and apparently tons of others. Make sure you're actually turning off your console. Holding power button for 6 seconds and it will cut of completely, unplug for 30 seconds just to make sure.

    Either way though I've got the error, and hitting offline worked.

    I heard it's a problem on Xbox side, not perfect worlds side.

    Edit: Confirmed that everything saves when using offline.

    Proof: Changed inventory, prayed, etc. Turned of Xbox completely, started it up, got error again, hit use offline, everything the saved properly

    Got the same error turning on Netflix, it's on the xbox side.

    I get this message when my home internet has died but the XB1 hasn't realized it yet or when XBL is having issues. Always instantly fixed by either cycling my router or hard resetting my XB1. I also have gotten it a few times when I definitely did have internet working and playing offline actually worked just fine (wasn't REALLY offline, connected to NW servers no problem and it certainly saved everything I did in-game). Hope this helps!

    It's a message from Xbox, not NW. Xbox saves game data and save information in the cloud so you can use any XB1 and pick up your game where you left off. When you see that message, Xbox is telling you it's having issues trying to download your game save data from the cloud. The good news is it keeps a copy locally as well. If you haven't played on another Xbox One, you're probably safe just telling it to use the offline data. Your XB1 will load your offline data and synchronize that with the cloud and the problem should go away.

    I had that issue pop up last night when Xbox Live was having some issues with logins and such. I used the offline data (as above) and everything worked fine.

    Thank you. Now I understand the difference between offline and online. I tried the offline and it did finally work.
