The stats increase is really too little..
I mean we are going to do it anyways since this is what we have got and hp increase is nice but if this is the reason to force people to log in play and stuffs well..its not really worth it.

If you think it's not worth it, don't get it. The stats should stay like they are or even have the health bonus reduced. Don't make the gear gap between players even larger...

.........dont increase the stat next mod then.
I wont have time to play and it would increase difference between players.
Its no sense
I've been oh-so-slowly working my way towards them but I may nod have to now, depending on what the newly announced vendor stuff is like.
It'll probably be somewhere in-between random 70 blues and the seal-vendor armor blues - like the Shar/DR old sets that were in between the 60 blues and T1 dungeon gear epic stuff...
[Edit: Referring to Iliyanbruen Ancestral / Redcap gear or Dread Servitor / Thayan Zealot - the stuff (mainly) from the vendors in Shar or daily lairs in DR, not the Fabled or Dread Legion gear.]

No, the bonus from black ice infusion is perfect. It's a small bonus that's here for those that wish to go the extra mile to make their gear perfect. It's small enough that it can be ignored if you wish to.

...that's quite some extra mile.
more like having to snake it in the "infantryman under fire" mode - with bound hands and feet and gagged. And up a steep cliff. Did you realistically assess the effort it takes (unless, ofc, you already prefarmed all that BI in Mod 5, when it was more like a leisurely walk)?
Again: IMHO make the "mile" shorter or the boon better - currently effort vs. effect is way off.

Elven Elemental gear is supposed to be the ultimate goal for the players, BUT the best gear in game is the crappiest gear ever conceived from its launch. I think that i read somewhere in this forum that developers promised that it is supposed to have a set bonus in the near future but as of now it is purely and utterly HAMSTER stats and total waste of money. You need 15x Unified Elements to reach BI profession 5, then u need 9x Unified Elements to make the 4 pieces. As of now Unified Elements price is 67-70k. Every player got 2 or maybe even 4 Unified Elements through the campaign so u have to pay 20x current price, that is around 1.5 million. All this for +66 Stats per piece (+100 for Armor piece) and +400 HP (+800 for Armor piece) compared to the Elven Gear. So that makes a total of around +300 stats and +2000 HP for around 1.5 million. But its not only the cost, its the parody of it. They went into creating all this new Black Ice upgrades with a new asset, the Unified Element, which could move the economy somehow, and the carrot at the end of all this is ROTTEN. The new lead designer said that its a game in the making so i guess everything can be justified under this statement. Well dont expect people to actually PAY real money with this mentality, if NOONE knows what works, what is bugged, how long will it work etc etc..PEOPLE NEED to KNOW WHAT THEY PAY FOR..we live on earth remember?

mining it isn't hard, just extremely tedious.
the real problem is refining. even with purple dudes it takes weeks, months maybe to refine enough for 1 friken piece.
and then it's not that much better..
either buff the set or (IMO) WAY reduce the costs

Lol in between blues and t1????? Bro, I wore 2/2 set of Dr Shar till 70 and sunk t2 bis. It was t2 gear mod 3 and 4. BiS if worn properly.

The stuff you could buy at the vendor? Ilynabruen Acestral set? With those 5 or 6 2-digit or 4, 5 100-200ish stats? Nah.
I admit to having been imprecise in my post above though: Not the stuff from MC, but the stuff from the vendor and dailies. I'll edit that in in the first post...
So: Neither Fabled Iliyanbruen nor Dread Legion, but Redcap or Ilyanbruen Ancestral, and Dread Servitor or Thayan Zealot gear. What one would get by doing time without running the Dungeons...

I believe they're talking about the black ice profession which is indeed costly as **** with minimal benefit as said.
Exactly this.
It should have at least a 10 15 percentile more stats
But one could balance on either side of the scales - And I'd also be happy to have lowered costs for the current set.
You know, eeeeeeeevil "Power creep" :^D

hint: it was never hard.
its pretty hard now. my hr isnt badly geared and yet i still cant solo iwd alone. i need a cws help.
