That's a lot of people reading the forums rather than playing the game, does that mean anything to Neverwinter ?

without even logging into the game I can see nothing has changed... Mod 6 still sux and kicks your butt.

I'm actually on 2 different computers at once. One happens to be on the forum, on the other I'm waiting for a dragon to spawn and moving powers around.

Some people sure find strange things to worry about. As if those 300-odd folks were even a statistically relevant portion of the playerbase...

I do similar with a PC and a Nexus tablet.

The internet - where you legitimately can be two (or more) places at once.
    Jenna Sunsoul - Justice Tankadin
    Aelar Hawkwind - Archer
Karrin Feywinter - Mistress of Flame
    Errin Duskwalker - Executioner
    Darquess - Soulbinder

I just do both in the same machine.

ok ok my bad, the game is fine, Mod 6 is perfect, no one ever dies, maybe I need glasses, cuz my 3 pages of guild members has turned into 4 die hard members only, 96 percent of the guild doesn't play anymore. and some posting on guild facebook group that they will not come back until the death simulator is fixed.

I thought someone was working on "Overall Difficulty", has anyone killed Tiamat since Mod 6 ?

And this has what exactly to do with however many people are lurking the forums at any given time for whatever reason?

Well off the top of my head I would say it's because they are posting on facebook and forums about the Game rather than playing the Game.

How many players are there in whole of neverwinter?
How many of those 186 people don't actully have neverwinter and are just here to read or chat?
How many of those are at work/School and are just here to read/Chat?

Are you sure any of those are actully.. Not in the game at the same time.. and just have a forum tab up or something?

Plenty of people viewing threads on MMO-champion.. I Guess Most Games (Or anything they are discussing there instead of doing/playing it) is doomed now :/

From their statistics "There are currently 10881 users online. 1054 members and 9827 guests"
    The world is surely doomed

I know *I* often have the forums open in the background when playing the game for starters. Like, you know, right now. And doubtless there are many who drop by here to catch up on :whatever: when circumstances don't allow them to actually play the game (at work, for example).

More to the point, a few hundred people is pretty much a rounding error in an even remotely healthy MMO's population. Right at this moment there's that many folks merely in the ~15 instances of Tower District where my fresh prince of Bel-Air, imean, Paladin is at...

As other posters have stated, the fact that X number of posters are viewing whatever portion of the forums does not necessarily mean that they're not "playing the game". There's also the fact that only 5-10 percent of a game's total player base generally frequents the forums--many players these days follow the game and major updates through social media. Those that are viewing the forums may just have a tab open on their browser to check on any sudden issues.

Bottom line is that there are many reasons that you are seeing the numbers you're seeing that don't necessarily equate to "they're not playing the game".

It's a pretty **** safe bet only a small minority of the playerbase so much as is aware of these forums' existence, though.

thats actually a very small number. usually its over 500 in general discussion alone. thats in improvement the game must be getting better following your logic.

I think they have the message there are major issues with Mod6

It is much more helpful to list the issues we feel must be addressed

    Well, let's see... given 1.6 million Xbox NWO players - that's about 0.012 %

OMG No wonder the forum is so laggy!
