What is the fastest way to get dragon bones, dragon gems

Hello,
what is the fastest way to get dragon bones, dragon gems.

Im on Xbox one

    for dragon gems do the Shores of Tuern skirmish if you have an awesome team/guild I would do the epic one for the dragon bones you have to fight the Rothe Valley Dragon

    What is the drop rate i do the both and nothing droped.
    Is there a way to increes the drop rate ?

    lol nope. it's a rare drop. it's all about luck. which is a running theme with Neverwinter. like back when i played in Icewind Dale. i kept doing Heroic Encounters for the Black Ice gauntlets. hoooo man did that take a long long time to get XD

    i wonder if the xbox version will be like how it was then... if so... oh dear god..

    Well from my experience Ive only gotten 2 Dragon bones and 2 Dragon gems and I would have to say it took me at least 20 attempts to get 1 of each from what Ive been told the epic skirmish has a higher drop of epic items but its nearly impossible to beat with randoms so you could probably run the normal skirmish a lot more times also having legendary dragon keys on hand so you can open that 2nd chest helps.

    I've never seen Dragon Bone drop in over 400 dragon kills and only got one Dragon Gem in about 50 normal Shores runs. I've never seen anything but gear in the chest in Epic Shores. I got another Dragon Gem in Epic Lair when it was up, but that's all for those rare items. I've never gotten Haarl's Treatise on Dragonkind, so I bought that and the Dragon Bones from the AH.

    Oh, by the way, I run and beat Epic Shores with randoms every day. I just ran three successful runs, two of which were DPS-only parties. I don't agree it's tough to beat. Epic Shores plays and feels just like normal shores to me.

    The auction house is easily the best option given how cheap the items you're looking for are compared to the price you get for using them.

    It's all about how lucky you are. I've gotten a dragon bone after only 3 kills and I've had another one that took 300 more kills. It's randomly generated and you just have to hope for the best if you're going to grind it out for them.

    and don't forget, the prices get lower the more there are in the auction house market. i learned that on PC. for example, some months ago, i was able to buy my full set of Grand Warden gear off the AH. but on xbox, it currently costs a HELLA lot more lol
