Cannot DEPOSIT gold. Only way is with a wireless keyboard. Controllers do NOT work.

Cannot DEPOSIT gold. Only way is with a wireless keyboard. Controllers do NOT work.

I don't know if it was Microsoft, or Cryptic, but last patch has made it where the only way we can deposit gold into the SHARED portion of our bank, is by a wireless keyboard, or some special input device OTHER than the official XBOX One controller.

They added new confirmation windows with the patch. One for leaving groups, one for withdrawing money from shared bank (works), and supposedly a confirmation for depositing money. If you use a controller to input the values, and hit depost, you do NOT get a confirmation window. My friend, who has a wireless keyboard for typing, says it works on hers, but only if she enters the values via that wireless keyboard, and you set the controller aside temporarily.

Have they even acknowledged this? For us starting low level toons, this is how I transfer gold to buy skill kits, and I cannot do it.

I'll wait on this problem for a year, if they could fix this BS kicking mechanic due to spoiled xbox players.

    There are three topics now about this. Not a single response from anybody of influence influence.
    Worst thing is it was posted about before the last mod or fix and still they didnt do anything about.

    Keyboard only works, not smart glass app, not controller. Im sol cause i got no keyboard :(

    Considering the massive amount of issues this game has, expecting them to acknowledge a minor bug in an official post is kind of silly. Much more important things to focus on.

    Does using a the smartglass app from a smartphone, tablet, etc work or does it have to be a wireless keyboard? I have over 200g spread across 5 characters and I would love to transfer it all to my main.

    They do not care... this game is just a cash grab designed to get as much money as it can then let it die and not fix anything.... elderscrolls will be out soon and it will crush this <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> game...

    I only know of the keyboard options. At some point, the game is " supposed " to pop a confirmation window up after you deposit. The controller doesn't get the window. A wireless keyboard does, and after the confirmation, window you can deposit. As for smartglass, I don't own one. I do have a Windows 8 tablet, but I have yet to try that method.

    I use gold a lot to move to new toons to buy kits with. I don't deal on the trade channel. Gold will come in handy end game, but until then, I would love to move it around for other toons to buy skill kits and such.

    Smart glass does not get it done, the update didnt fix this?

    No. The update was for LoL.

    I imagine we'll have to wait for another patch to get this fixed.

    In the mean time, assuming you have friends you can trust, I've worked around this by trading my friends my gold and swapping characters. A bit more tedious, but the end result is the same.

    NOTE: I would only recommend doing this with someone you know/trust. Otherwise, practice at your own risk!

    I was told there was no fix for it at this time when I reported it days ago.

    I've not been able to put gold in my shared bank for a few weeks now. Sort of annoying. But hey! What can you do? Remember; we're not customers, we're replaceable people who may or may not spend $ on this game.
