I'm starting with Yet Another, Not because ive seen someone complain about rogues. Its because I know someone has.. Gamertag "Midwolf", Rogue named "Sleazer". I am A guardian fighter, Im build with 100% pvp gear, 1000+ Tenacity. 5000 Defense, That's a 40% damage resistance. Yet a Rogue 1 shot me with a 30k hit.. 30k, Are you serious. How is this allowed.. The team at Neverwinter are killing PVP, ive never been in a PVP match without 60% of the group being Rogues and Soon that will be 100%, Rogues will only play PVP has they are overpowered making it boring..
I'm sorry but what can i do, people will say "dodge" But Guardian Fighters Cannot dodge, They can block but I cannot Block a 30k Hit.. im dead.. What makes me even more mad is you give Guardian Fighters No choice in PVP gear, WE have to choice Defense, Reflection, Regen etc, No power, Crit or AP gear, you make us a Tank in PVP "which is DUMB" Yet you allow a Rogue to 1 shot us. Fix your game before its too late and No one plays PVP.
AND before Rogues come here Stating "my class isn't that powerful" Please Dont, you are, the only People who dont complain about Rogues are Rogues, But i dont want play a game with the game being 100% rogues.. How can you play PVE...
Also an important note Which i know people are wondering why it keeps happening is Rogues getting kicked for No reason in Dungeon, The reason being is PVP. Yes, in a dungeon they are the best DPS but tanks like me "but not only me" Dont care, id prefer Take 5 hours do a dungeon with no rogue then 10 minutes with a Cheap broken Rogue..
You dominate PVP i hope all Tanks are smart enough kick you out of ALL PVE so you can Only play PVP and enjoy it, Because Finally Rogues will then complain and make The Neverwinter Team Patch your Class...
Also I dont want do your job but maybe a 30k, 20 second move should be a 2 minute cooldown, That will fix it.. thats still 5 1 shots in PVP and Not 30... and thats with 1 rogue, 2x rogues = 60 1 shot kills.. Boring broken PVP
Wow, only thing I can say is: GF with 30k HP only? My CW had way more in mod5 ...
remember they dont have all the gear we had. there starting over. eventually the gf will get 50k hp. but dont worry we had the same problem with rogues esp the double proc bug. but they wont fix it they didnt for us they wont for you prob.and rogues use the same arguements our rogues said when mod 6 comes theyll all switch to cw watch.

It is not just the gear, but all the boons, as well.
We have mod 4, but we have mod 5 character balance.
We are missing game content from mods 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6.
Back on topic, this doesn't seem like an issue to me (I don't have a rouge character)

Very rarely will you actually find a Trickster Rogue that performs this well in PvP that will perform well in PvE... With Trickster Rogue you either build PvP or build PvE. With my experiences with Trickster Rogue you tend to build your character to do well in pvp but suck at pve; do well in pve but are sub-par with pvp; or do tons of dps in pve and pvp but die easily... I never really got the hang of it to be honest so I know there are better players out there who got it down. I honestly think you just got unlucky and hit the TR who stacks Arm. Pen with Crit. and spams whispering blade or whatever its called.

I made my gf as a pure tank with respects to feats. Anything that gave me or my party more tank, I choose. I thought I'd be useless in pvp, but you can guard tank and kite in pvp too. I found that I couldn't dish out the burst dps that true dps classes can do, but I can tank loads of damage, so I went with that. With iron, valor, fray, some choice feats, and tons of Regen and life drain I can tank the entire team or hold a point against multiple people while my team cleans up the other points. Although, I hardly ever kill anyone and usually don't die much, I do however usually top in assists because that's all I do. Tank and support. Unless there is a mage.. Rogues have a hell of a time trying to break my guard, even with their one shot kill stuff. The pvp gear seems to favor this pvp style since it give more stamina and move speed.
But there are lots of vids on a gf being a killing machine in pvp, but that usually meant that they weren't the tanking God in pve.
I sympathize with your frustration, but you need to consider all the facts before you let said frustration consume you.
You have a high defense, but defense is pretty easy to ignore. It's arguably the least effective defensive stat because it can be completely negated with Armor Penetration, Plague Fire enchantments, and powers like the TRs Wicked Reminder. Add to that the high damage potential with TR powers and the 100% crit chance from stealth and you can very easily get to one-shot damage levels. You probably got hit for well over 60k damage with that shot, absorbed about half of it (which is impressive), and didn't have enough HP to cover the gap. Thus, one shot kill. You may want to boost HP, stack more deflection, and use your guard mode non-stop in PvP to reduce the chances of being killed in one shot.
I play a PvE TR. He's exceptional in PvE (really, it's insane), so naturally, I absolutely suck in PvP. I'm built for sustained damage over time and don't even have points in powers like Smoke Bomb or Shadow Strike, but I know what the TR is capable of if someone builds for the highest possible single-shot damage (or even for really high one-shot damage and lots of stealth). It sucks to get hit with it, but I still don't think it's OP. The reason why is because it's the only thing TRs have. As a TR who doesn't do well in PvP, I can tell you that without that damage potential, there's not a lot we can offer to a PvP team. I'm constantly rooted, dazed, or stunned when I play PvP. My sustained high damage build isn't enough to kill most enemies unless they are already damaged and their encounters are on cool down. If you take away the one-shot potential, TRs don't have much value in PvP. Tactics and teamwork can easily counter one-shot TRs, but that's tough in PUGs.
Thanks for the Information but it doesn't help, after spending which must be £50 on respecing to perfect myself in PVP and maybe, Just maybe survive 1 rogue "seeming PVP is full of them" i've gave up. "you can't beat them, join them" ive created a rogue for PVP, Nothing can help a GF in PVP, rogues dominate the game.. So with my GF ill do dungeon ect, PVE and continue kick ever **** rogue out of ever group i join and when I do pvp, ill follow all the sheep to the cliff by being a rogue. I just know though "from someone who loves his GF" there is NO WAY PVP wont be 7/10 Rogues, 3/10 Wizards/warlocks.. PVP sucks...
FIX it Neverwinter Team.. Or at least give me a message on queuing PVP "This game type is build around rogues, your are a Guardian Fighter, you sure you want join?"..
Anything is better then Nothing and for a Guardian Fighter in PVP, we get absolute Nothing at ALL!
There is absolutely no excuse for the overpowered state of rogues in pvp. It is shameful and embarassing. Not only for the players but the developers. CW fit into the same ridiculous category. Look. A guardian fighter should have at least the chance to contribute to pvp but is unable due to the ridiculous imbalance. Same goes for sw And gimped for pvp. The matches should be dictated by skill and teamwork. Not imbalanced garbage.
Nerf TR and CW immediately. Have some respect for customers perfect world.

Rogues aren't even OP, you clearly haven't come up against a team of HRs with Trapper builds. And if you honestly cannot dodge rogues attacks your reaction speed must be absolutely awful.
Oh and you spent £50 on respecs, I'm glad you still get 1 hit, how bad can you be at making a build. Like honestly, use the internet if your struggling that bad for a build..

Sorry to hear your troubles mate. I can guarantee your defensive stats were crapped on by debuffs though.
I personally feel that a good GF is the best for node contention though. I can't talk from personal experience as that is the one class I've never played. I can day though I have run into, in the last week actually 4 or 5 very good GFs. I do very well against every class, but these particular GFs held me long enough on there node for back up to arrive, which is exactly what they should have done. They realized they weren't going to just face plant me and cap the nose and they played very defensively and moved around a lot never turning there backs to me.
The capability for the GF is definately there. It's all on whose playing them.
Please don't take what I say negatively, as that's not my intention. I personally feel you just need more experience with your GF in PvP, and that can be said about everyone.
I've also been hit for 20k shots, but it's so far and few between that the times I did happen all I could say was "good for you"!.
What you have to remember is you can build the perfect character, but you are going to get hit hard sometimes. Whether it's because a mistake you made, or because of the "luck and chance factor" in NW.
My recommendation is keep playing PvP man, you won't get better posting on the forums. Take those hits in stride and move on.

Taking into account your AC, you should be sitting at 50% damage resistance at least, not 40. Full PvP gear? There's no way. GFs in full PvP are typically rocking at least 36k HP, and with HP enchants you should be pushing 40k.
Either your build is way off or you misread your character sheet completely. In both cases you probably have a lot of room to improve your gameplay, which you should work on before rerolling. There's nothing stopping you, but PvP takes an abstract kind of skill that doesn't come from playing any particular class. If you're a bad Guardian you probably won't fare much better as a TR, but the low skill floor should make it easier for you to learn.
I watched a Guardian tank 4 people with no heals for almost two minutes today. I was giving them a constant 30% damage buff from Break the Spirit, keeping 3 x Greater Plaguefire up, and each of them had around 30% ArPen. And yes, one of those 4 people was a TR, and an incredibly good one to boot. It's more than possible to tank efficiently in PvP, you just need to put in more effort and stop whining.
im sry were overpowered but we also die the 2nd easiest my highest crit is 72k so far that ive seen and tested it might be higher now I got a higher gs now/beter stats
