I have been thinking about those, and couldn't find it anywhere else, so decided to start a thread about it.
As a game descended from a classic role play, I believe Neverwinter lacks a few aspects. Here's a list;
1) Apart from Moonstone Mask, the other taverns should have their own tavern musics.
2) We must be able to buy drinks and get drunk in the game.
3) Accessing to emotes and using them should be easier.
4) Emotes should include hugging and kissing animations, also voice effects.
5) We must be able to sit on chairs, lie on beds and climb up to ladders. (that exists but without the original animation, what I thinking about was the actual ladder climbing animation, whether it leads to somewhere or not.)
6) Climbing to rocks in some maps would be fun to.
7) And howcome there is no swimming?
8) Starting our own campfire would be cool. It does not necessarrily have to have a pray function.
9) Also more lore from the libraries around would be better (I mean in the Protectors Enclave).
I suppose that's all I can think of now. I will add more if I remember!
I think if people want to role-play, they can do so without having all that stuff. After all, people got by role-playing far more complex actions with little more then a piece of paper and a set of dice. So while fancy animations are nice to have, they honestly add little to the game over all.
Considering the number of larger, more pressing issues we are dealing with. I just cant see anything on this list worth spending time on. There are no tiny details that need to be added. There are major issues that still need to be dealt with first.
those experiment potions that accidentally involve transmutation providing according recipes so that I could make potions to turn myself into a bear or a chicken for 10 min or so
Edit: oh and also the ones that make you huge or tiny. I love the tiny ones
Most of them are what they are called in the list but you can look them up by just googleing bind neverwinter emotes
As a general rule its easiest to shove all that stuff on to the numpad. So that would be numpad 1, numpad 2 and so on.
I used to use brotaunt for the cn win video.
The other tavern is actualy kind of useful because it disables all buffs including those from companions so you can mess around with your gear and chants and see what you would actually get in pvp instead of what you get with randoms casting stuff around you.

LMFAO, just imagined halfing tryin to kiss or hug dragonborn rofl.
DB can as well as eat the halfling... If those animations would be implemented, I would suggest any halfling to stay away from the DBs.

I agree! Those random potions should have been saved in our "super secret alchemy tome", so we could re-create them whenever we want!

You can bind the emotes you want to keys
/bind <key> emote <emote name>

I have also just remembered, I would go for duel option with another player, even in the Protectors Enclave.

Oh hell no. I get enough irritation in PE already, lets not add new ways to further annoy people. Be it from unwanted duel requests to unneeded extra lag from combat effects as people duke it out in places not meant for it. I don't want to have to wade past two fighting morons just to use the bank, or have to find an alternate mailbox because people decided to fight there.
Duels are fine, just take it someplace...ANYPLACE elsewhere.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Sockmunkey is DEAD ON. NO NO NO NO NO. If you want dueling - go to an arena. NOT in public instances - there is almost nothing more annoying than l33t jackalopes bouncing all over in a marketplace or public area.
For me, the good old days involved learning that getting drunk often meant falling to ones doom. From one of the high platforms in the starting wood elf city in Everquest. Going splat is never a good time.

Not bad. These would be nice tiny improvements, but I have issues with the above 4 proposed changes.
1) These are bars in a world where the Spellplague occurred. They should be restful and full of tired folk. These are not medieval nightclubs and discos.
2) Why should we be able to buy drinks and get drunk? Why? I'm not sure if you just started real life drinking, or are an alcoholic, or are looking forward to being old enough to drink, but it really has no place in the game unless you want a stumble and vomit emote. I mean...it would be funny, but also stupid and it would lose it's novelty quickly.
4) Ok...well...I wouldn't mind more emotes, but after spending a lot of time in Moonstone I can safely say everytime I go in there I want to puke. There are an overabundance of RPers who are not really RPing. I mean, I just killed 50 orcs and I'm tired and want to talk about how I caved their heads in and laugh heartily with my companions, but I can't do that. Nobody wants to RP like that. They all want to flirt with Tieflings and look into eachother's eyes and have verbal sex. It's pathetic to a level I can never bring myself to. So no kissing and hugging. If you really want that, then give me that drunk and vomit emote so I can stumble and puke all over them while they "seductively dance" for eachother.
7) Can't swim in armor. It's not made of aluminum foil. Not gonna switch to fashion clothes in a battle zone either. Not practical. Any goblin could run up to me and put their dirty blade through my nice shirt into my ribs. Also, don't need summer swim gear in PE. This is a medieval city where I don't care to see a dragonborn's scaly back or a Tiefling demon HAMSTER. NO THANKS. Let's stick to regular garb and armor. I'm here to fight the Spellplague and Elemental Evils not find love and fap with a non-humanoid creature.

Those are really good points, and my replies are:
1) I believe that's even more a better reason to have good tavern songs, or bards in taverns. If people are demoralized, taverns and inns should serve booze and entertainment to increase their spirits. On the other hand, if these are the sad times, then tavern songs can be slow as well. Like Skyrim's The Bannered Mare. Or to optimize this fantasy, why not have a music list that we can change as we step in to an inn? (something that applies only to individual players, so people can listen whatever they like).
And my main problem with the lack of tavern songs was the fact that I get tired of listening to zone musics all the time. I like how in some games you go to a tavern or inn and hear something differrent and say "This feels like breathing!"
2) I'm not alcoholic in real life, and I'm 21, so I can drink whenever I like (I can say that I enjoy a bottle of ale occasionaly, like twice in a month). Why I like drinking in a game like this (not every game but fantasy rpg's) is that it's something unique to this genre. Fantasy rpg's developed after traditional rpg's, which was mostly influenced by Lord of the Rings (let's not forget Dragonlance which is between digital games and pen and paper games). And most of these elements have this celtic, viking, medieval atmosphere, which I love greatly (And I imagine drunk dwarves most of the time when I hear about these games). So it would be fun to have drinking in the game. While I think you are right about over used vomitting emotes, that's something I can easily overlook.
3) I suppose while we enjoy LoTR side of things, we miss out Game of Thrones side of things. Yes, there are some lame scenes when people try desperately to have cyber romance and sex, but we can't ignore the fact that in a world based on the most well known role play setting lack the simple physical contact. Furthermore you don't have to use it for such lame reasons, and its those people's lameness when they do it, not yours. We might as well get an option to block such emotes, so we won't see kissing and hugging people if we don't like it.
4) Well if you can't swim in armor, don't do it then. Like don't swim at all. I'm not saying we should have quests about shooting sea hags while surfing on our shields. I'm just saying it would give the game a sense of reality. Just knowing the fact that I could dive into the nearby lake and swim would make me feel good, eventhough I wouldn't even bother to do so. (but I would).
I just don't like not being able to interact enogh with the environment, I sometimes want to forget the fact that I'm in a tiny hamster cage, encircled with invisible walls, and half of the physic rules aren't working. An effort of making virtual world a little more detailed is always appreciated, as long as you are not forced to interact with it.
New tiny detail: A new server where roleplay is enhanced. (that's not tiny isn't it?)

Yeah, yeah, sorry I haven't thought about that until it pointed out. I just wanted to be able to fight with my friends and test each other's strength and skill. In pvp arena you can't match against your friends. How about a city arena, where duel style pvp is allowed?
