Blue gear drops

Has anyone seen any blue gear drop? I've leveled to 70 and played at lvl 70 all thru drowned shore to spinward rise and haven't seen one.

    The only places where I've seen blue gear drops were:

    Leveling dungeons
    Sword Coast Adventures reward(s)
    Hourly dragon runs

    SCA and dragon runs are rare to find. Leveling dungeons as boss loot.. and even then it's variable level and not necessarily gear for you. The few leveling dungeons I ran.. none of the gear I could use.

    You can get blue gear in the non epic dungeons. The problem with that is that it's for a random Class, so not necessarily usable.

    But no drops in regular PVE, wow mod 6 is sooooo cool LOL

    I'm currently level 59 Paladin while questing I get blue gear drops. But the down side is the stats on the gear is bad and not worry worth selling on AH.

    I don't think rare gear drop off mobs and chests in any of the level 60+ zone any more. Only in dungeons or from quest rewards. You can also get a piece of pvp blue from coming out on top of a pvp match.

    I believe I got a blue arms for my paladin from the chest (though it still shows invisible items) from neverdeath solo dungeon in the ToD campaign

    Pre lvl 60 they haven't changed anything (as far as I can tell) regarding blue gear drops. I think it's a horrible idea to give green gear as rearward for daily lair. I would rather have nothing than a disappointing reward.

    Leveling my Devotion Paladin and I've been seeing blue drops all the way back at Blacklake. Maybe 60-70% were for my class, sometimes better value that what I had equipped, sometimes not. I am trying to finish-up Spaniard Rise right now and still seeing blue drops, maybe one in 50? I'm not sure.

    I have no idea how the RNG is working for blue drops, but I see them pretty regularly, rarely, but regularly.

    As for green versus blue, etc - I also think the Devs are trying to retrain us: the color of a drop is supposed to only indicate rarity, it is the actual rank of the drop that counts: higher rank is almost always better, except when the difference is so close that the actual stats matter more to you (for example: it's hard to convince me to give-up Armor Penetration for Defense on gear within ten levels of rank). ~shrugs~

    I have had 3 blue lvl 70 drops. 1 Has been in eCC, one in IWD (from a random mob) and one in WoD (also from a random mob).

    Sold all three on the Ah for about 3-5k each.

    They can drop, but they are very rare.

    Only place I have had blue gear drop on regular maps is from the chests you find around the place ,it's usually lvl 68 gear, never seen any regular mob drop blue gear since module 6

    The Master of the hunt often gives blue level 60 stuff.... which is even useless for refining but it yields 34 silver

    Are you saying you are getting blue gear drops from mobs? I used to get them all the time, since mod 6 NOT ONE SINGLE BLUE GEAR DROP. And you dont think they changed anything?

    The final chest reward is always for your class, but you have to use a key.

    Already leveled a Dev Paladin to 70 and I was positive I was getting blues often. Am now leveling a Prot Paladin and I can confirm: I am getting constant blue drops from trash mobs in open zones (and solo instances) all the time - starting all the way back to Blacklake District. They aren't that often, maybe happens with one in ten or one in twenty mobs and when blue drops it is only about one third of the time for my class.

    But I am seeing blue drops from trash mobs happen *all the time* from Blacklake forward (currently at Ebon Downs/level 40 as I write this). If you're not seeing anything I can only say this: be very sure you're checking *everything* that drops. If you look closely you can see the (extremely subtle) difference in glow color. And if you're that sure you aren't seeing anything then I really don't know what to say other than the RNG doesn't like your toon. :)

    EDIT to UPDATE: Funny - just after I wrote this I did "Sealing the Crypts" in Ebon Downs - got me another Blue drop after killing the three "bosses" there. I meant to grab a screenshot showing the item and that it was blue, but I forgot to turn on "UI" elements. But there is a cropped screenshot where you can see the blue tinge of the glowy:

    I got ZERO blue drops taking my GWF from 60-70 in vigilance quests, but have got a lot of blued drops taking my Paly from 1-30 questing. So my best guess is that this is a 'feature' of the 'new' level 61-70 vigilance quest content.....
