im curious how does hr get 9 encounters?

aparently ive been playing my hr wrong because last time i counted 3+3=6 and 3*2=6. or is my math off? i keep seeing people say "oh hr is op cause they get 9 encounters" so how do they do it?

    This reminds me of the TR bashers who used TR skills in different Paragon Paths as proof, when such combinations were impossible to build . . .

    I saw someone mention HR trapper having 9 encounters in the thread talking about the tab functions. I was looking at that post like "What the F*** is he talking about?"

    They probably assume that Disrupting Shot and Forest Ghost are encounters, due to their easily recoverable AP cost via Master Trapper. The missing 9th encounter is probably your at-wills since a skilled trapper uses them at about the same rate as their other so called "encounters".

    It's probably because of Trappers having such low cooldown that it gives the impression of having multiple encounters.

    OR

    They're counting.......

    .......... each Hindering Shot charge as an "Encounter".

    You're absolutely right here - 3 and 3 is 6 and times two that's 12!!!

    HR got 12 encounters, obviously. Let's go and spread that information to the community!

    I heard in GG pvp after I killed TR and his body HR(!) complaining that I (alone) having to much encounter and this is broken stuff. another Hr was silent lol

    its proof he doesnt play hr. because even if you hit marauders escape you still take the damage and the cc from the attack.i have a new nickname for him... wait for it....NERD RAGE!!!!

    LOL spam all 3 charges of hindering with disruptive, then have fox and marauder's in his rotation, and he calls that perma root+daze. It won't even work on mobs lol.

    My TR has 9 encounters too. When I press TAB to stealth, all my cooldown gets reduced.

    the fun we get from it and the fact that these are statements from actual people on these forums claiming hrs are op. he actually said hrs get 9 encounters.

    Counting is worse if you include Cordon of Arrows. That has 3 charges as well

    yeah but we dont do it with every class just hrs cause they think hrs are op.

    you actually forgetting - 3 second as no CC resist player.
    So for real ancient roots (as damage part) ticks only once due to duration being only ~ 1 second.
    Daze from crushing might be an OP thing if they finally fix roots damage part and Wisdom/control strength effecting roots duration.
    Roots should be dodge-able - no question about that really. But problem is if they not fix roots damage then roots for HR would be 0.01% of damage now.

    Right now daze from crushing seems to be effected only by control strength from artifacts while not effected by Wisdom. This is imho. don't have 100% prof of this bug or wai. But if it is a bug and will be fixed then some balancing should be put on daze too.
