PURPOSE PVP

now having known that i cant make the originally wanted 1 shot build, can someone help me with a similar one that maybe will do alot of damage really quick but isnt 1 shot.

i would just want to know what race, powers, feats, abilities points etc to have not exact gear. I would just want to know what stats to look for in the gear for the build you give me, thanks!

So basically i want a rogue that can do allot of damage real fast in pvp, as cose to the style of a 1 shot build used to be as possible!

Thanks for taking the time to read this and help me if you do!

Just spend about $2000 on zen and overgear above what anyone else has, Get your perfect Vorpal, Perfect soulforged, 3 legendary artifact, rank 10 radiants and darks, stack power and arpen. and then just stealth and pop Shocking execution/for instakills on anyone but a Guarding GF. considering XBOX current gear levels you probably dont even need to spend too much. just gear yourself above anyone else and you'll rock anything. best done if you go Executioner for the 100% power on first hit from stealth feat. but exe isnt as good module 6. so you'd have to regear/respec when they release module 6 balance.

My rogue was only borrowing some rank 7's from one of my other chars, and a perf vorpal, and leveling her on PC 10-60 I pretty much did PVP only, was one shotting people left right and center, and this was in module 3 and 4 before some of the bigger rogue changes
People are way too negative, Why cant we just all get along.

This is what i'm using for pvp atm, not human or i'd be using this setup. -3 points into disciple of strength, once race reroll comes in i'll be using this.

Plaguefire for weapon (Yes its broke atm for 100% damage proc on Shadow of Demise) better than vorp most likely till you get a perfect, Soulforged for Armor, Stacking Dark in offensive slots, and Silvery in Defensive Slots, i'm using just the basic Legendary pvp armor atm, working on the T2 Profound Scoundrel Set as we speak, Then not 100% sure on how i'll go with defensive slots after that, not sure if i'm going to go for a mixture of deflection and health or straight health since you lose a lot of it with the Profound gear.

Now for skill sets you have quite a few options depending on how the games playing out.

At-Wills (I always use no matter what):

    CoS
    DF

    Encounters (Base Set):

LB (Never go without this)- On the squishier opponents usually a one shot kill anyways.

Shadow Strike - Used to combo IS or to restealth after initial blow with LB and wait till out of combat and First Strike is active again.

Impact Shot (Could use Dazing Strike)-
Personal Pref really, Dazing is nice but i like to rotate Stealth > IS (Short Daze+Free Use) > Shadow Strike > Stealth > IS when LB is down or target is at range and running, can usually get back to back dazes this way instead of just one long daze, Better tick off from Shadow of Demise and also its a nice punch at range to get it to go off even higher if i can spam 3 more off on them.

Have gotten a kills with IS when someones under 70% health and they have low defense.

You can rotate in for shadow strike or impact shot if your dealing with a lot of team fights on 2 or put both in.
    PotB
    SB

    Dailies (never really Change these):
Shocking Execution (Use it to finish off ppl with low health)

Bloodbath (Nice for damage immunity when stealths down and low on health)

    Class Features:
First Strike - Could be changed for Sneak Attack if your finding your needing the movement (Will loose burst damage) You also need to learn to pull out of combat to make this effect after each strike unless your trying to finish someone off.

Skillful Infiltrator - Always on no matter what.

As for a true one shot build, I really don't think once everyone is geared well and we get more campaigns it'll be possible. Squishy targets are easily one shotted, I'm hoping to push for harder targets but so far this seems the most promise i've seen in different builds i've tried.

yes it did sadly, was told about it by another TR and had to test it out for myself and it is here, had a lesser vorp before and picked up a plaguefire and the -3k damage by the initial hit with the vorp on was nothing compared to what i gained when SoD went off.

Why would you run executioner? Go Human MI-saboteur and dump all your points into Con/intel, go so you get 20 con/18 intel lvl 60.

This is the build, and Im basicly "perma-stealth". I take no credit for it, check out Valthier and Grillz. I like to use Impact shot instead of Dazing strike or Impossible to catch. Reason for this is: when you trigger One of the shadows, your encounters will deal 20% dmg for 10 sec. So I go like this: Cloud of steel, when Stealth meter is almost empty I use Impact shot, now you have full stealth meter again, and go in with lashing blade on the stunned target. Most are dead after this, if not just shadow strike, go stealth again, Impact shot, cloud of steel. by this time you probably have "one with the shadows" up again, and after this shadowstrike is ready again. Think you see the picture now. Reason I like Impact shot is because most classes cant do anything to avoid your lashing blade, because they get stunned by Impact shot. Helps you alot vs CW and other Rogues. Also this build when gear gets more avaiable on X1, you will end up with around 40k health, you will be able to contest more bases and defend better, resulting in more wins. This build is crazy good!!
90% of the games I end up with maybe 15+ kills and 1-2 deaths. Go for Scoundrel gear for arm. penetration, aim for 2k+ recovery, Radiant in defense. Soulforged in armor, and Vorpal in wpn. Have fun killing :O

    For powers I run:
    at-wills:
    Gloaming cut
    Cloud of steel

    Encounters:
    Lashing Blade
    Shadow strike
    Impact Shot

    Dailys:
    Lurker's assault
    Shocking execution

The plague fire is better than a vorpal? I have a perfect vorpal and I'm still trying to see if it's actually working the way it's supposed to work.

Really depends on your build if PF is better than Vorp, If your an executioner build i could see it being better since it gives you 100% damage on SoD when it proc's instead of just 50% of what you did. Now with a perfect Vorp i could see it being very useful. If i had one i might be able to 1 shot most classes easily with it right now in PvP. That is if it's actually 50% more crit severity like i see in the enchantment guide. I know Soul Forged has changed since the guide i was looking at was made.

    @nvyee
Honestly as for Impact Shot > Lashing Blade unless you are really close to the target the daze is way to short to get it off. I've tried the perma stealth build myself and I really dont like. I've really had no problems with Perma Stealth TR's on mine, if they reveal their self for a second I usually can take them down, and if i don't I can keep my stealth up just about as long as they can, and if they do show their selves I have SS up and can can restealth right away.

The TR's that seem to give me the most run for my money are the Scoundrel Build ones that keep me in constant daze.

I think players are extremely foolish for using the Plaguefire with the Executioner build.

Its obvious it does more damage then having a Vorpal because of the Bug. TR's using this are just going to get used to the insane damage it has and when it gets fixed they are going to get shat on because they are going to be too used to the high dmg output, and most rely on that solely for kills.

Its a bad crutch, and its only going to make the player worse in PvP.

It really all depends on your playstyle man.

PvE in this game is easy, so even if you pick a straight PvP focused build, you are still going to do very well as far as DPS in dungeons if you play well. Will an equally geared, equally skilled solely PvE spec'd/built TR do more damage then you in Dungeons? Yes, but its not going to be some overwhelming margin.

Sab Tree - (MI)Is going to be a more perma stealth style build depending on what encounters you use. Most use Shadow Strike, Dazing and ITC. Its a very very nasty build with just using CoS with Shadow Opportunity. But it is twice as difficult to replicate the playstyle as it is on PC because of the difference of using a keyboard/mouse VS a Controller. Getting those hits on the back to proc Gutterborn and use Gloaming is very difficult on Xbox because you cant use the jump feature and spinning your character around is much, much slower.

(WK) - Also a very very nasty dps build, using Disheartening Strike and CoS together. Its definitely a "fire and forget" type of build. Most will use Vengeance Pursuit to proc return to shadows, shadow strike and deft strike. Its definitely much more difficult to be as effective compared to MI however because you have no CC and no means of getting out of CC. Very nasty build, takes some getting used to.

Scoundrel Tree - I personally use a form of this build and absolutely love it. The CC is excellent, but its all about your rotations to fully maximize this build. WK owns this build compared to MI(but that is my personal opinion). The burst damage with the right rotations and the insane CC is what makes this build very affective in PvP.

Executioner Tree - Very high burst damage, but minimal Stealth duration leaves you open much more for incoming attacks. MI is best for this for that reason as having ITC is very important.

I base all my opinions solely on PvP effectiveness and personal experience
