Agreed. There was already an effective anti-botting measure - no auto-pickup and drops disappearing after a time.
I do NOT believe the explanation that the nerf is anti-botting measure. It is an anti-player measure that some misguided person put in place to drive sales of the ludicrously overpriced blood rubies.
First, we got the rug pulled out from under us with new artifact equipment.
Then, we were lied to about the refinement value of our old artifact equipment.
Now, it's been made next to impossible to ever finish refining the new equipment.
This is not good decision making, it is not an anti-botting measure. It is frankly disgusting.

The Devs might actually think that this daily limit is not affecting legitimate players. Even in non hours on end grind, but it is limiting the daily amount of drops even in normal casual play.
And many people are upset about it... that is a fact.
When the goal in RP is set in the millions, it is necessary to grind for RP. It is legitimate game play. It also fills in the time after you have all 4 gear pieces from T2.

what am i supposed to do on friday nights where i spend 24 hours playing and grinding because i can? gah!!! good thing im saving my unbound rp from dragon heralds next double rp im gonna be rich.
so you're saying that part of the issue driving people to bot in the first place isn't the insanely high number of refinement points needed to achieve max rank on anything? Over 10 mil RP for artifacts and over 4 mil for Artifact equipment, that's 56 MILLION refinement points just to achieve max rank on those if you've got 4 of each. And then there's the refinement points you need for enchants and runestones......

Who is driving you to bot? Or even get artifacts above epic quality? Artifacts are totally optional, always have, always will be and so are rank 12 enchantments. If it wasn't for the botting/exploit abusing scumbags... then perhaps 5-10 people would be running around with legendaries/mythics/r 12's. I am not even factoring in the various other exploits, that certain people abused in the past and have gotten away unpunished. This is what's driving away actual paying customers, which then results in less income for the company, which then results in bad quality releases. Yet said people dare to keep crying: "Oh, no... MOD 6 sucks, the developers are bad" etc. When in fact THEY are the cause of the entire dillema/decrease in quality. Do you get my point? I'm sure you do.
The real question is, when will those people ever learn?
