I have hit 20 with weaponsmithing and tailoring and artificing.. but I have purple / blue in all three.. and the fastest way to unlock 100% speed bonus is getting 4 blues of either and doing a 6hr quest and filling them all with blues.. (if you need that.. that is)

I like tailoring as I can do 6hr tasks before bed for 1200 points.. and 1hr tasks (well less with blue / purple) for 300-900 depending on the path.. I've found robes and shoes were quick and easy xp.

you can also find blue tailors on the AH for 10K 4 of which to make a purple are cheaper than buying purples.

If you can do 10-15 10-minute quests a day and are willing to invest a few diamonds in resources, then Alchemy is the fastest one. You can level it in 20-25 days, even faster if in the earlier leveling tasks you spend some AD to hasten. This profession is especially useful for unlocking the T3 and 100% professionslots.

Otherwise the fastest ones are Tailoring, Artificing and Jewelcrafting, as these have a 300XP collecting Task on lvl 7 and a 1200XP collecting task on lvl 14. They can be even faster, if at lvl 14 you take the converting tasks (instead of collecting or both) and the building 1h-tasks for 750XP. I prefer Juwelcrafting, as it allows me to craft some real good rings.

Alchemy is by far the fastest, although you will spend some AD if you don't have the lower level potions and aqua vitae/aqua regia stocked up. You only need one slot, and one purple alchemist will make the levels fly by. Buy more if you are rich enough, and sell them back afterwards. (Or keep them for making Unified Elements).

Each level takes as many hours as its level, plus figure an hour or so for experimentation. So you can get through 10 levels in two days, then up until lvl 18 you can do 2-3 levels a day with one purple alchemist. Super fast.

Alchemy is the fastest, especially if you have potions in different tiers lying around. It's the fastest even if you don't buy potions or aqua vitae/regia and make it all instead. You can only have one "experiment" slot at a time, so there will always be crafting slots free for other things--use them to continually work on aqua vitae or aqua regia as soon as you're able.

If you don't want to go for alchemy, artificing is a bit bugged: The tier 3 base material tasks only take 6h as opposed to 8h for all other manufactuing professions.

Fastest way to unlock the non-level slots:
Rank III result: Alchemy, level 3 with 4 purple tools.
100% speed result: Leadership level 1 with two Heros.

Fastest way to get 3 to 60:

ANY 3 crafting skills. Not leadership, not black ice (clearly). They are all equally as fast. My suggestions:

    Jewelcrafting
YOUR Class's skill (IE: tailor for CW, leatherworking for TR, etc).
Weaponsmithing or Artificing (again, based on your class)

A solid option if you don't care what you pick:
Platesmithing (for Hit Point armor reinforcement)

I start with leadership. Get 2 heroes (buy, or borrow from guildies of possible) to open the 100% slot..takes 10 min. Once you get to where you can make AD, use it to buy blues and purples for any other 2, I think the AD you get from leveling leadership is worth taking a little longer.

I usually go with artificing for 2nd one, I got the purple assets when they were dirt cheap, so the rank 3 was fairly easy..got it the 1st or second try on most of my toons, with crafting just orbs to get the blue ones, and class determined what the 3rd one was.

I try to stay away from alchemy, just because keeping up with all the potions was a pain, much easier to collect materials for all the other ones...like collecting skins and making pelts for leatherworking, it makjes the leveling go faster than you think, plus they go in your assets bag instead of your main bags..of which I never have enough space anyway :).

Just my thoughts, and everyone has their own preferences.
