Are there favorite dungeons to speedrun or do for loot?
Also is there a better dungeon to be running based on your class? Or is all loot classing random and the odds of you finding anything the same. I'm fairly new to 60, and I often don't get drops unless I buy a key... but to spend 5k AD for an item worth 3-6k AD when I'm trying to save up is counter-productive.
I have been farming the mad dragon for the High Prophet Helm for awhile now (20 total runs) and still no dang Helm. Opening the chest every time. Is there a difference with the "free key" as opposed to the purchased key? I would love any tips on how loot works. I know RNG but dang this is getting tiresome. LOL

if you wish to get a choice of epic armor at the end you have to use the 5k key(Gold one) Otherwise you wont get your helm.

That's a bummer, I guess I got lucky and got all of that set first try on each dungeon. I'm having issues finding the T2 armor though. It's completely random, however I'd be curious to know the "odds"

If your just trying to speed run for epics, the best one by a long shot is Pirate king. He dies super fast, and the last 1/3rd of the dungeon you can fling enemies off. It's the most time efficient.

Not true, daily keys act just the same as Epic keys. SOmething for folks to keep in mind though that they may not be aware of, you don't HAVE to use your key. If you open the chest and are not happy with whats in there, just hit the "B" button instead of the "A" button and leave the dungeon.

On topic, my favorite dungeon to run for loot is Lair of the Spider Queen. My group can finish the dungeon in about 15 minutes, the last boss rather frequently drops T2 armor that can be salvaged for 10k or sold on the AH for 7-9k and the last chest has a chance to contain one of your classes T2 set chest armor pieces which can also be salvaged for an additional 10k (can't be sold on AH though cause Bind on Pickup). My favorite dungeon WOULD be ePK if it was possible to run it as fast as you can on PC (~7 minutes), but unfortunately, my group has discovered rather quickly that you can't because making the larger pulls in that dungeon will cause party member's consoles to freeze up and crash out of Neverwinter. Can avoid the crashes by just making smaller pulls but that causes the dungeon to take around 25 minutes or so which is not only slower than our eSpider runs, but the loot from it also isn't as consistently good. Plus more people farm ePK so the loot that comes from it is in higher supply in the AH making it less valuable because supply and demand yo.
EDIT: Farming the first boss of Castle Never is also very profitable but it's really only doable if you have a full prfemade as leaving a random PUG after one boss kill is kinda a jerk thing to do...

I have to chime in here. I had ran the Mad Dragon more time than I cared to and never got the T1 helm. Under the advice of
lonqqy I did not get a "free key" and instead bought one then ran the Mad Dragon. I did in fact get the choice of T1 helms on the first run last night.
Now I switched over to my SW and ran the Cloak Tower using the same thought process and bought a key. First run I got the T1 arms. I then went and got my "free key" and ran Cragmire and the only thing in the chest were blue items. Coincident? IDK but it sure seems funny how this played out last night.

Thats a good thing to know, thanks for that.
Is it still a fairly low odd with the key? Or does anyone know the chance?

I don't believe this is true. Do you have a source that states this? I've only purchased like 2 or 3 keys for AD, yet I have the full T1 set.

According to the Neverwinter Wiki Dungeon page there's a 10% chance
