Help with my control wizard spellstorm renegade lvl 58

It has been so confusing making this build.
with the new update
i was following this guide

but after the lvl 70 update everything on the guide changed so im confused

I just saw reapers touch and abyss of chaos(got nerfed) were removed and energy recovery wich was suppossed to be bugged was added

I saw bitter cold was suggested to use it now it went full Thaumaturge.
Im confused too with my at wills, i saw a player using storm pillar instead of chilling cloud

    I think he switched to Energy Recovery to have a bit more defense and because with Spell Twisting you use less at-wills. Whatever, none of them is an important feat, so it's up to you. The feats you chose are not bad (just take 5/5 Chilling Advantage), the problem is that you won't have enough point for Spell Twisting or Icy Veins.
    I don't like your stat points very much, I would focus more on INT and CHA.
