I'm relatively new to Neverwinter; never played on the PC but so far it's introduction to next gen is highly addictive. I just have a few ideas I'd like to share with everyone in hopes that I may gain better insight into the game and possibly convince "The Powers That Be" to consider augmenting their game for the greater good.
First off, how about a better chance for upgrading shards? I mean really, 1% chance for a successful upgrade on my soulforged enchantment? That's basically like saying, "Well if you want to get that enchantment you NEED to buy zen for the coalescent ward." I understand that you guys need money to better improve the quality of your game by whatever means but I've literally spent just as much on preservation wards though out my Neverwinter life as it cost for a coalescent ward. I understand a lot of people have gotten by this way but for those of us who try to spend little to no money because of financial issues or for whatever reason, the grind is super taxing on us. I play this game every chance I get but that doesn't mean I want to grind AD every second I'm on. This is not a super big issue that I'm trying to blow out of proportion, I'm just saying that changing it to 3% or even 2% will make a HUGE difference to a lot of individuals, myself included.
Then there are also some of the abilities for the ranged classes should have an auto engage feature for when your using individual targeting attacks, I.E. spamming at-will powers for when your fighting multiple foes. Like when I'm killing something with my DC and the enemy dies I'll usually just look to the next enemy but then I'd have to let go of and repress my at-will button to engage them instead of it just letting me hold down the button. Again not huge but it would make the gaming run a lot more smoothly.
Also I think adding some of the buff potions such as major fortification potions more easily available like though a potions shop or even the Wondrous Bazaar would make gameplay a lot less time consuming grinding for or buying though the AH as some of my characters have a squishy feature to them and need it. Heck, while your at it, why not take out the salvage trader and just make the ability to salvage items readily available to everyone everywhere. I hate having to go back to the Protectors Enclave just to salvage an item seeing as how whatever instance I connect to I have to deal with a reduced frame rate depending on the number of people currently in that instance.
I also think it would be nice if you gave people the option to choose to either take what is in a dungeon chest or close it back up to save their key? Personally I'd rather save my key than take the lower tier gear from a tier one dungeon I'm running my friend though to get their equips. If you don't take the dungeon chest loot there isn't a way to leave the dungeon as far as I know. Then there is the GPS feature for quest that sometimes doesn't know where to go or leads you in the wrong direction for a little bit before it decides to make a 180 backwards. Sometimes when your in a party and your choosing to create a path for the quest it just shows you it doesn't know the location but then if you leave the party and retry it, then will work.
Then there is also the Vault of Piety items located under the Ardent Favor that are a little out-of-whack if you ask me. I mean lets talk reality for a second, why on Earth would anyone spend 150 Ardent coins(basically 5 months worth) on a RARE weapon? I've only been on the game for 19 days and my weapon is way better already. How about removing those and adding more companions or mounts that are exclusive to the Vault like the angel of protection(which I WILL be getting next year), that way more people would have a drive to get on more often to get the coins.
Lastly, not so much as something in the game already, but I would absolutely love to see a daily reward system, for instance if you get online and stay active for an hour you get a tick(check) and a small prize. Every day after, the same thing but the prize gets just slightly better until you get 7 ticks (one week) and then you receive a mystery box that contains something worth having. These are just a couple of ideas I have that will improve game playability in my opinion; I'd appreciate any feedback, positive or negative from anyone; thanks for reading guys and I'll try to post more ideas as they come! (^.^)
I never said that I didn't want to grind, that's basically what you do in this game either way. I was just simply stating not everyone has 10+ hours to grind on a daily basis. Like I said, it's not a HUGE deal it was just merely speculation on my part.

Format it into smaller chunks (known as paragraphs) and I might read it. ;p
