I just noticed that I barely if ever I get hit on my level 21 ranger so this makes me wonder can I not do that on high level content and finish all content?
With subpar gear.. probably not. You just have to continually upgrade your gear as the challenge grows. My wonderful epic L60 gear is squat against the new L60+ content, so just keep upgrading as you grow in level. If decent gear won't drop for you while questing, hit the auction house.

My ranger has been roughing it out in the old T2 epics. You spend a lot of time dead (but you would anyway) but it is doable with patience, even alone. Though I only recommend this route if you are a gaming HAMSTER.
Barely managed to do it with the old profoud set from PvP. Was extremely taxing both in patience and time though, so I'd recommend upgrading your gear to eternal while you do it for simplicity's sake.
I leveled solo to 70 with profound set. Note that going combat does wonders for the heal and life steal chance. Wouldn't want to try it with archer spec for sure.

All content, no. New lvling zones yes but you're just making things extremely hard on yourself. I solo lvled to 70 on my SW Archer and only swapped out my VT set at 65 for the Eternal gear, which I didn't know about initially, which would have made the lvling process so much smoother pre-65. You will get slaughtered over and over and over in T1s and I wouldn't even suggest T2 in old gear.
Our pain is self chosen.

I just finished leveling to 70 with sub-par gear (thanks to the 2xp week), since I was only just at 60 before mod 6 hit and so was not able to do much for boons and gear before it was all taken away or made obsolete. I can do any normal zones but as an archer I struggle with any of the mod6 zones, and of course could not do any 'you are 70' campaign zones. I haven't tried the latter since getting to 70. I do ok damage in a 3-man dungeon group but haven't done any of the t2 content (I had a GS of about 12k and now have non-GS of 1650).
I will switch to a trapper build of some sort if and when they ever fix the point allocation bug, and based on other threads I suggest that you level that way.
0-60 can level anything with whatever drops. 60-70? I used DT set until around 65-66 and switched to the eternal but it is doable. Brand new HR? I don't know. Because the L60 Epics most of us used running through the new content make a bit of a difference. And I was using arti gear too so.... It might be possible?
In mod six? No. About the time you get to Spinward Rise you'll start noticing mobs eating you alive. it gets worse on your way up to 70, at which point you can sort of become useless. I mean I'm fine if teamed with a melee aggro-soak character, but soloing campaign dailies and dungeons? That's a thing of the very recent past.
You can do the levelling content. It's not as easy for you as most of the other classes but its doable so long as the lag doesn't get too bad.
Outside of levelling, you're going to have a hard time. Seriously. In dungeons almost everyone will kick you out because a CW or DPS DC, can do your job a couple times better than you. In PvP almost every single class can one rotation you, while you have to keep them locked down for 3-4, 6 encounter rotations to kill them. In PvE, tenacity gets to the point that you wonder if the mobs were ever affected by your so called Crowd Control before they one shot you. And in Skirmishes, well I actually haven't done enough of them to give a conclusive view of that so :P. I'd guess that it's similar to the dungeons situation though.
Basically, you're playing at a massive disadvantage compared to the other classes. But the classes design is fun enough that some of us are still willing to endure all that.
if you are under-geared, yes CW's and TR's will out score you. Your massive disadvantage is that HR's have essentially no way to naturally mitigate damage in mod 6. The damage you deal, however, can be staggering.
^^^^ my experience. Make friends with a really good tank. Because it is fairly easy to steal aggro from everyone and no ammount of heals work when you are insta-killed.

My guild co-leader and and I would often run a tank while the other dps'd with whatever toon. With our HR's though, he had a Pathfinder trapper that he would team with my Stormwarden archer, which was a deadly combo for dailies. Not sure how that would work out now (he's been sidelined with a broken laptop since just before mod 6 dropped), but it was fun while it lasted.

except for dazes it has really nothing to offer. Damage wise its like tr mod 4.
however you should be able to conclude solo content...the leveling basically.
