  This is really from...not even secondary sources, but
  I've seen a Mod 6 twitch stream where this guy (the same one they promoted on the news page - Light It Up guildmaster...Dan?) ran around IWD with guild members and they did the Remorhaz HE -> one of members of his guild who participated then claimed in chat to have gotten the gloves so I imagine the mainhand still drops aswell
  
  They had more than 30 fairly well-coordinated people in total doing the HE and they only finished it in the nick of time

  Well yeah, I very much expect the gloves to drop, since they are still used in the new Mod6 BI gear, and the devs even explicitly stated that they would increase the drop rate on them.
  That still doesn't tell us anything about the BI mainhand.

  The gloves drop, i got them on Remorhaz last week.

  I did get the Black Ice main hand from the HE rewards I fought for before mod 6 and opened after. So guessin the beholder will still drop it.
