Why is Got Censored?

Now this question was probably already answered but why is the word Got censored? I understand why n o o b is censored but got, really?

    My unsubstantiated guess is that it's part of a common workaround for a derogatory word.
    It does make for amusing chat though, when your brain automatically substitutes a filter for an actual bad word.

    Not sure IF this may be a reason or not but the German word for God is Gott? But then again in Protector's Enclave the invocations person says God in her speach?
