GF IV TANK build For PVE

Well lets start of by explaining why I made this build. I made this build because I could not find good protector build for gf's in mod 6 in fact there were no build to be honest. This build is build around a set of class feats that will keep u alive as long as possible. But ill be honest u wont do damage on your own so for dailies I use a pet for extra dps.

These are the stats my gf currently has keep in mind my gf isnt done yet with all the campaigns.
I the reason i chose this combination of stats is because i dont expect to do a lot for my team in the damage department so i plan on taking all the hits and damage through knights valor so thats the reason.
2 Feats
Here is the path i took to make my gf a real tank
Toughness more hp never hurst a tank
Strength focus more power for a little more damage and incoming healing
strengthing resurgence took this feat so i get a little hp back when i get hit
disstracting shield this is really good for a tank since u have your shield up most of the times and the reason was less incoming damage
armor specialization this is a no brainer off course
potent challenge more threat is wat we need
the rest of the base feats arent needed for a tank. (If you go human put the 3 extra points into the ap generating feat.)
The reason why i dont take damage feats is that what good will it do me to do damage if i do 1 the least
of all 2 i could use them better on the defensive ones and 3 i can pick my gear around my build so solo wont be that hard.

the first set of powers is what i use in parties
class feats: are ferocious reaction and shield talent.
Ferocious reaction was a bad feat before mod 6 but that was before they nerfed life steal and regen so now were does the gf gets his HP from if the dc isnt looking or dead also helps to get you through though situations in solo play.
Shield talent is a no brainer u need more stamina to block and if its a half bar just use shield attack that will restore your stamina for 5%.
enforced thread for the taunts
knights valor keep party save and take half damage (if u drop to low ferocious reaction will kick in) good in combination with the daily S.O.S
Into the fray buffs your allies with a bit of your dr and the get a speed buff.
These are the only powers i use in a party (the only times i switch out a power is vt valindra enforcing becomes lunging strike to get around faster// ELOL last boss if a gwf for example keeps killing me by standing in red i switch out kv for knights challenge)
Solo powers
powers slotted are class feats guarded assault and combat superiority
Guarded assualt for when i have to block than i can still do a bit of damage
Combat superiority for the damage buff when they hit me
Encounters are enforcing threat, lunging strike and frontline surge. U can always swap out et and fs for kneebreaker anvil of doom
This is the offensive build i use to complete dailies if its to hard on you swap out these two for the party class feats they will help u much better.

The armor im wearing is focused on def and deflect 1 got 1 piece that has crit for a little bit of solo play
i would recommed getting :
first alliance ward T1(blue gear)
after that get elemental alliance ward T1.5
and last elemental ward
for rings i would get the adamant regen rings or a mix of the piercing and regen (one of each)
in the defensive slot i slot radiants and in the offensive slots im currently using draconic but im planning to mix draconic and black ice
set recommendations
im personnely going for the seldarine set because of the heal bonus it gives. but the lathander set is also pretty good.
if u dont want a set than go for greater con belt and lathander cloak.
Weapon & armor enchantments
good choices for weapon enchants
p terror
p plague fire
(experimental p fey // p bilet)
good choices for armor
soulforged (u dont need higher than lesser)
negation (only get this if perfect or higher)
bloodtheft (perfect or higher)
6 pets
good pets for this build are
Healer pet (angel is nice or medic) for solo and if u dont need them anymore for solo replace with one of the below
cockatorice (must)
augment pet (must)
renegade envoker (must)
blacksmith
rust monster
dread warrior
priestess off sehanine moonbow
Gear for the pets should be loyal defender gear thats bis for pets.
Does the cockatrice proc work in PvE?
yes it procs in pve
