Does anyone else feel punished for leveling up !!

I don't know about anyone else but I sure feel this way. I have such a hard time looking at my stats and seeing with every level that they drop instead of going up or at least staying where they were at level 60. My power was at a +34% at level 60 with just over 5000 and now that I am almost 6500, my power is now only +22%. And I am just level 66. I keep getting better armor and weapons but all my stats just keep going down. I really have no reason whatsoever to even want to level anymore or for that even get better armor or weapons outside of the extra hit points you get. It just won't make any real difference to my stat percentages. I have never played any other game that punishes players like this just for leveling up. I have an even harder time believing they would think of doing things this way let alone of actually going through with it. I don't know about anyone else, but it truly feels like punishment to level past 60 anymore with how they worked things.

Yeah, its one of the most addlebrained idea they ever had, they tried to make the game more challanging from level to level and innovated the absurd solution to make your char weaker and weaker as you increase levels while your enemies get stronger.

It should be something like this but it feels like this

It's so stupid that i completely lose the desire to play :/

same here. Isn't D&D core mechanic, meant for players to become stronger as they level up, and not the other way around?
I show player support, by only playing Neverwinter as F2P

Definitely feels like being punished for taking the time to play their content and mind-numbing sixteen hourly quests (done four at a time for arbitrary reasons) just to have my stats reduced with each level up. I manged one character to seventy. My main. And I regret all the effectiveness lost in those ten levels.

Ya but you get new gear you can spend a ton of money on refining for them to turn into garbage in a few months, and don't forget about the new rank 4 slots that don't work! What more coud you ask for than being made to spend even more cash and having higher level power slots that don't work and a weaker character? lol /sarcasm.

Then you hit 70 and get your stats back.
    The end.
Broken mechanics, broken class designs, lack of actual content, and over zealous, bronze-age moderation?

There's nothing wrong with that idea. Against stronger mobs the same power will be less effective

You dont understand. I did Lvl68-70 in FirePit. The same Firespikes become harder and harder to kill with each level-up. THE SAME. Whatever the function is they use, it is WRONG.

    lol no you don't.

The new gear barely gives back. This new stupid system only benefits the fat whales who can afford rank 12s and mythic artifacts. Then they basically become even more OP than they were in mod 5.

The only stat I have back is HP. I have less crit, DR, damage from power, deflect, life steal, regen and recovery bonuses, then I had at lvl 60. And I have comparably less ArP because 24% RI was enough for everything at lvl 60, but 47% is not enough at lvl 70. But I have twice as much HP, yes.
M6 almost drains your soul given how boring it is. (c) joocycuzzzzzz

Really? My Warlock's 70 and I would say that he's still weaker then at level 60....

Just for the sake of clarification. At 60 I had 22.7% lifesteal, at level 70 with the new gear that's dropped to a whopping 6.1%

    On a warlock.....

So, you're saying your Warlock is weaker than it was 10 levels prior because of a stat that has a complete mechanic change?
Son, that's not a lack of stats from leveling.

Comparatively, my SW has more Crit% and RI% than it did before.
