Reset My Vigilance? Sorry for the Inconvenience?

I was on the Holding the Line vigilance quest. This morning, BEFORE the patch, I had completed quest 15 of 16.
After I loaded patch and logged on, I got the "reset" message. Now I am at ZERO of 16 quests completed.
That is a VERY low blow to a casual player. That erases 4 morning of my limited play time.
I'm pretty pissed, Cryptic, at this.
I'm going to have to take a break from my main - the grind has been bad enough, but that was a low stab in the back, Devs.
