Auction House Functionality

I had a couple of questions about the lack of options on the auction house search. I have noticed that buying and selling is extremely difficult due to the lack of search functions. For those of you who have played PC, is the auction house format as dysfunctional as the xbox? Or has anyone heard of any plans to improve the search functions?

The main issue is that there is no way to refine an item search by a "buy out included," or "ending soonest," or "price high/low, low/high," or "completed auctions" (to value items) and the rarity sort never works.

    Anybody? I know the auction house isn't a top priority for most players, I was just hoping for a comparison to the PC version. Just really hoping this gets better before ESO comes out.

    Yes, the auction house was very poorly designed. At this rate, I wouldn't expect a fix anytime soon.

    I believe that it is still broken on the PC side according to a few post I've read from PC players. What I found best is to use keywords from gear sets or specific names for the items you're looking for to make the AH somewhat useable. Outside of that, the Devs don't seem to care about it as much as they do with the Zen Market.

    While this will help, it doesn't always work. Sometimes you need the exact name typed in for it to yield a result. For example: I was searching for a Dragon Bone Scepter. I narrowed the search to "Items I can used" and typed in "Dragon Bone" all I got were a few pages of Icons. So I typed in "Dragon bone scep", and still only got Icons. I wasn't until I typed in "Dragon Bone scepter" that it pulled up several pages of them.
