More than 10 days and a thursday maintenance passed and still this issue persists. Do the devs even know about this bug? I see the foundry editor now works, but most foundry quests are unusable, because you simply can not transfer to the next map. Please fix this issue. The foundry is pretty much useless this way.
I don't know if it was a specific bug that only happened to me yesterday but all teleports are taking forever. each time I use a teleport the map loads completely all over again, at takes like 1 min at least. it's really bugging me.

I reported that bug via Help/Report a Bug/Foundry as new ticket a while ago...

If you are talking about using teleporters while in the Foundry 3D Preview mode, there is definitely a NEW bug related to teleporters.
Not only does it appear to take forever, it clears all objectives, all objects become visible, and all NPCs, interactables, and encounters lose their interaction states. It's as if it is forcing the Author into a new and stateless instance of the map upon using a teleporter while in 3D preview mode.
The good news is that this bug doesn't happen on the published live quest (thus far).

wow, that sucks! it's a really nasty new bug...
Has it been reported? I had no idea it was this bad.
I think I should wait till the foundry is more stable before going back to work on it.

HMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Maybe they were messing around with teleporters and the whole 3rd component?
The [Admin] Map Transfer Failed occurs when trying to enter the second custom map of my quest (the first map that contains teleporters)

I put in a bug report in-game and added a post to the Bug Report sub-forum here.

Day before big patch, play testing my last quest. Map Transfer Failed is still an issue.
Quest was published before Mod 6 release. Ticket submitted.
Suggest people run their already published works to see if there is a pattern.
For me, the Map Transfer failled occurs when trying to enter the second map, a custom map, of my quest. Neither the first or second maps contain teleporters. But a map later in the quest does contain them.
Going to go see how my quests that don't have teleporters in them at all fair, vs. the ones that do...

There is a work around of sorts. After the map transfer fails, simply use the exit button by the minimap, then return to the city gates and use the world map to enter the next area of the foundry. Even though the map fails to load, the quest still shows your progress as being able to enter the next area.
that didn't work for me, and I tried 4+ times.
I got the failed to transfer error, exit the quest, and when trying to go there again, the place didn't even show on the map.
I had to retake the quest, and when I did, the game skipped right to the part where I was before dropping and retaking it, but the teleport object or portal to the next map isn't clickable.
I tried that many times and I always failed...

I don't believe it effects the editor.
That said, I think they said they were going to get the foundry working again tomorrow, unless something goes wrong.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.
reiwulf I had the same issue - the place didn't even show on the map.
Make sure that in Story tab in the second Map Transition (transition to your second map) you tick 'Use Overworld Map'. Than follow the gornonthecob's steps.
In my quest, after setting this option the location appeared on the world map. I had to go through the whole quest, exiting before every transition. The next play was working as it should.
I needed to tick this only at the second map transition - the rest was working ok somehow.

Or that may be putting further chapters on hold until I can make maps a fair challenge for solo players again.

it's still good advice though, thanks!
Anyway, I fixed mine and it's working, so if you would like to give it a try see Double Party in Quest Database (needs reviews).
