WTH! Here is how i pictured mod 6. How about you?

Well i was crazy to be thinking mod 6 would be a EXPANSION to the game instead of just tearing 4 and 5 apart. Heer is how i pictured it...........

I expected a whole new campaghn called Elimental Evil. You do new quests to become 70
I expected to have to unlock the new weapons through it and get once level 70 4 NEW dungeons and 4 NEW skirmishes.
I expected that the dungeons and skirmishes was called Elemantal wind/Elemental Water/Elemental Fire/and Elemental earth. Those places would also be same as the TOD campaghn and have to get the earth, wind and fire books for the campaghn. That the NEW dongeons would have a normal and epic version. Same for the skirmishes.
That the rest of the game stayed the same other then the level's being increased on all what they did increase on. That Tiamat became harder and yes for level 70 players only to try to beat but for new rewards..
I thought that out of each NEW dungeon for level 70s, I would be able to get NEW Armor piece from it, for example the earth dungoen and so on u may get a earth book or a armor piece or whatever,as was b4 with say like avatar of war but in the new ones for 70 gear.

Is this mod the real result of all you college educated devs?,, PLEASE TELL me it isnT. mY GUILD HAS LOST OVER 150 PPLIN LAST TEN DAYS WHENNORMALY THAT WOULD BE 30 OR 20. I see in ten days yall fixed 2 things a ring and Triumphs. And why is it that once i get done with whispering caverns that to doa quest is LESS XP???
    I expected all those things and more such as, BOONS LIST 4 of 4 and the final elemental evil one. So for example choice one is for a earth boon. U gain 400 critical or 400 armor pen choice one is called sinkhole choice 2 called rockslide or whatever,,earth related while your choices for 2nd boon is wind one called tornado that gives you +400 lifesteal other called lightning that gives you 400 defens... I guess I am truley stupid to have expected such a quility mod. OR I am asleep and having a goddam nightmare!!!Someone PLEASE WAKE Me the hell up, HURRY WAKE ME UP I DONT WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME ANYMORE IT CANT POSSIBLY HAVE WENT DOWN LIKE THIS I HAVE MORE TRUST IN CRYPTIC. HELP ME! I know they would never just do what my nighmare is about.It's awefull, i dream that they made it where the AI is just stronger, well isanely and changed the whole game rather then actualy add a mod like i described.

    I fully agree with original post. The 60-70 grind in the four new areas is a freaking mind and soul killer. I have played this game for 10+ months, and it is tragic to see what it has developed(?) into.

    Since day one of my MMORPG days, there is this ingrain hate towards grinding...

    And I have to agree, MOD 6 is a bit (understatement of the year) of a let down.

    @sharky - up until paragraph 3, you where doing fine in explaining everything that IMHO is wrong with this mod. Then you blew your credibility, with paragraph 3, by loosing your grip on reality. Sorry no offense intended and though the worst put-off is the salutation at the end, as that just sealed the credibility dysfunction.

    I for one love to solo grind. I will never let dying during solo grind kill that love. It did get a little tedious, but there are other options. We don't have to level the way that Cryptic wants...

    Yeah i know that and more ppl wil figue that out, the problem is is that they shouldnt be. As far as cedability....as far as last post..well "I did it my way"

    I too thought mod 6 was going to be an expansion, not a tear down of mod 5. I spent a lot of time grinding in mod 5 to get the new artifacts but then found all of that effort was destroyed with mod 6. I don't think the developers have control over what the build (or destroy), this decision was made by business owners to increase cash flow. They may rethink this approach if they start losing customers. marauder550.

    As I said in another post... it is against my ideals to use an exploit because I want to get ahead. But others want the game to remain s easy as it was for them. Many players think it should be easy because they have been here for a long time and paid for their position... through blood, sweat and RL $.

    I'm loving mod 6. The new (better) GG is so amazing. I played several matches in which we were 2000 to 1999/1998.. It is pumping me up and i feel like i actually achieved something. The PvE is ok, too. Once you get used to it. But to me GG is the best thing that ever happened to NW-PvP. There is literally ZERO lag!, now that it is 10 vs 10.

    Whoever came up with the idea of making it a 10 vs 10, I LOVE YOU.



    tl,dr: Mod 6 is not the big fail, that unprepared people want to make others believe it is. Mod 6 is ok.

    They took the Well Of Dragons concept and replicated it in these old zones. I think it was an honest effort. I know many expected a true expansion to the campaign.

    I actually think the main problem here is a lack of resources directed at the project. There are countless bugs and too few dungeons at release. The scale of difficulty with the dungeons and campaign is also way out of whack. The 3 man dungeons are a great concept, but they made them too easy and not enough reward. The opposite is true for the 1600 and 2000 dungeons.

    The Elemental Campaign seems unfinished in terms of an actual story and is very rough around the edges. I also think the xbox release took presidence over this.

    Nevertheless, I am confident that in 6 months things will be much better for the PC version of this game. I think some people are being overly harsh in their criticism, but so be it.
