Lockbox Notifications

Could we please get the ability to stop those Tyrannical Lockbox notifications from popping up in the middle of the screen. I really don't need to see who won a mount. It covers a huge chunk of the screen and is very annoying when you're in teh middle of something.

It's bad business. Seeing my screen spammed by huge, game blocking text advertisements doesn't make me want to pay more, it make me want to play less. Knowing that this spam persists even for paying customers makes it even less likely that I will invest a dime into this game. It is fun, bugs, jaggies and lag aside, but not so fun that Ill pay and still expect to put up with this type of abuse. I will just go on for free where that level of customer treatment is expected and easier tolerated....at least until EOS cones out. I'll happily give them my $60 if they want to treat me like a real customer.

Have you seen the prices in the Zen market? I don't think $60 is enough. That's one, small, premium-priced content pack. Heck, it's not even enough for the Dragonborn pack! My guess is you'd have to gladly pay $1,000 (per year?) before they stop advertising their cash cow that is keys for gamble boxes...er, I mean lockboxes.

The notice really bugged me at first, but now I don't even notice it. The fact that I, and many others, have become numb to it is a great reason to stop doing it, but I guess enough people fall for it and buy keys in hopes of hitting the lottery and getting a good item. Good for them. I'll just enjoy the free content and earn my gear until there's a pack that interests me enough to spend money.

F2P = Lockbox/Zen Store spamvertising. That's the "new" model for online gaming.
Congratulations all you "we want everything to be free" got your wishes.
