RIP Warlock

Warlock, as DD (damage dealer), has died. I've run several VT with guild mates (GF, CW, TR). Before mod6 our damage was pretty equal, now I cannot do more than 35-40% of their damage with Fury capstone. Tyrannical Threat is nerfed to the ground, Creeping Death is nerfed by another 40%.

Why did you provide players with Warlock class at all then ? To kill it after few months?

    Temptation spec is no better - worse in fact. Ran a few like you, and the results where pretty catastrophic in terms of Warlock performance.
    Healing - either 3rd or 4th down the list. Cleric was top, then one or two dps classes would be higher than the Temp.
    Damage Dealt - predictably and consistently 5th
    Enemies Slain - see damage dealt

    Pretty equally geared group, we are all progressing at a similar rate. Don't really know what to say now. Why anyone would bring a Temp SW into a group now I just do not know.

    "Mod 6. Oh my f****** god. It gutted the game pure and simple. And what wasn't gutted was messed up by the poorly thought out new level cap and equip. The game never recovered from that atrocity".

    You do know that weapon enchants are bugged atm and dealing way more damage than they should? You cant base it on others damage when they are running Feytouched for example or the lostmaouth set as a HR.

    My conqueror GF even has an easier time blowing through mobs compared to my SW. For a lack of control or tanking their damage output is stupidly low.

    The point is we did not change our gear to new one. Weapons enchantments were perfect vorpals. That was the idea, to run VT several times together, farm it and to compare our damage output at the same time, because we are a team that used to run dungeons together like for ages :) So it was pretty easy to observe the huge difference between SW damage output and the rest of the team. This class is nerfed to the ground, unfortunately.

    The pic I posted in another thread. That SW had pretty much solid gear - burning pvp set, r8s, epic artifacts and lvl 70 artifact weapons. But the reason why he did so little damage is not because his damage was naturally low, but because he was dead most of the time and only fox let him a chance to stand.

    I can vouch for this, warlock is indeed nerfed to ground. Hence I'm playing a paladin now
