Had both seeds to plant at tree - only able to plant 1 seed - can't plant other seed

I did both seed quests and came back to plant the seeds at the tree. A little window popped up asking which seed to plant so I just planted the one highlighted. That worked normal. But it now will not let me plant the other seed. Where you plant the seed is no longer highlighted even though I still have one seed in my inventory. Waited a few moments to see if it popped back up, but it didn't. Tried talking to both people there at the tree also did not help.

    Same here. Could be questing prob. Anyways, I just discard those, you will collect new ones next day.

    It is simple:
    Get 1st quest
    Get 1st seed
    Plant 1st seed
    Report 1st seed planted
    Get 2nd Quest
    Do 2nd quest
    Plant 2nd Seed
    Report ...
