Character Background broken

Subject: Character Background changed
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a character with any background except "Dalelands Battle Tested Veteran"
2. Start playing
3. Check "Character History" on "Character Sheet"
4. Notice that your choice of background has been ignored and replaced with "Dalelands Veteran"
Bug: Character Background choice doesn't carry into game.
Notes: It would be better to have no character background than force all players/characters to have the same.

    This problem has persisted forever, even with the PC version. IMO if it can't or won't be fixed the background just needs to be removed entirely. It kind of takes the R out of RPG

    Does anyone at Arc or PW ever respond to bug reports? It would be nice to get some answers, like is anything being done to fix the game? How long will it take? Will existing characters be fixed?
    I know this is a "free" game but I spent money purchasing Zen, and with all the uncertainty around character background, I'm not making use of it. I feel like I've paid for a faulty game, but requesting a refund isn't as simple as returning the damaged product to a shop.
