I would expect a lot of nerfing. The Paladin is OP period. I one shotted both of the first two bosses with my daily. Besides that the shifted abilty to heal seconds as a block. Right now the Pally is win-win.
I am logging in now to see how they do in PVP
DC's will continue (as from the start) continue a long slow slide to oblivion imo. Despite being apprised REPEATEDLY by the players of the DC's problems, and the undesirability in group play, they have repeatedly failed to actually change what the players have told them. They have instead, tried to change everything other than the basic problems "around" the DC rather than the DC.
Like this abortion of a Mod6's nerf of lifesteal, Yes, lifesteal had made the utilization of DC moot, players were getting all the heals they needed through lifesteal and potions, why take up a player slot for a DC's gimpy heals/dps? They have nerfed lifesteal for what? To bring back the need for a DC? Yeh..at the same time they added a second healing class..a beefier, better dps healer...so that worked
Unless they take a SERIOUS nerfbat to what I've seen so far of the OP (and if they do that to a new class you can just hear the screams of the player/fan) then the inherent problems with the DC are still there glaring you in the face and the OP is going instead of the DC.
If you aren't familiar with the DC's problem, take up that classes thread, everything that is a problem with the class has been repeatedly told to the devs, and every retooling to "fix" them had exactly opposite of what was needed.
I'm certainly no fan of WoW, but they had the same problem with priests as this game has, and they did the same thing this game did (window dressing, tooling around the class rather than with the class) for yrs, until they FINALLY got serious and had a complete rework of the class and even though there was a few retweeks needed afterwords they got it right when they added in the anointed/shadow priest works.

Being able to 1 shot a level 2 baddie is hardly enough to judge the performance of an entire class. Paladin starts off well enough, but it slows down quickly by level 40, then all that initial damage feels much weaker. By 60 Paladin is firmly one of the lowest DPS classes in the game, it becomes less like damage and more like mildly harsh language.
EVERY CLASS IS POWERFUL the first 50 levels sheesh! The reason the paladins are decent damage and hard to kill in pvp right now is not OPness its that alot of us with 10s of millions of ad tricked out and twinked our paladins has nothing to do with class the gear we have on the paladins on anyother class would be as if not more effective just FYI
