Sure, in general I can understand the coding would be ridiculous to have everyone in a public area shouting into their mics, not to mention the headache it would be to have to listen to everyone shouting into their mics in a public area. But it *should* be a feature that party chat should be included, or even individual characters can be selected and voice chat activated. Discuss ...
I like the idea of their being a way to select someones name from chat to talk to them directly with the mic. I think it'd be nice if for example someone says "WTT THIS FOR THIS" you could just somehow highlight their name and initiate a chat session with them about the trade. Or for group finding, etc.
As long as the person receiving the request could say NO. Would hate for all the Gold Farmers asking me to pay them.

I'm hoping that with the hold MS put on the "party chat" feature of the April XB1 update, coupled with the fact that Neverwinter just released, that there *may* be hope for this "party chat" feature to roll over into the game. Then again, Battlefield 4 has no problems with restricting chat to squads in-game ...
