I am hoping to get information on companions for M6. I have a choice between 2 healers, Priestess of Sune (Blue) and the Battlefield Medic (Purple). Has anyone taken them to Legendary and/or Mythic? I heard Mythic will allow a companion to automatically get up after an elapsed time. I am debating what to do.
Companions overall are supposed to be getting a boost, and maybe they can contribute for the new content. If anyone has companion thoughts or information, please provide what you have. The community would appreciate any feedback on this or anything else companion related that you may have picked up.
Thank You

What can i tell, i just love my legendary priestess of sune, she heals me for about 2-4k hp per tick (i think she has like 5 tick or so), its rly nice healing. And all lvl of companions allows one to get up, when she was still purple, she was doing this if died unfortunate death. ;p
Need to say, i will prolly run with here instead of augment.
Now i only hope all stats companions (stats as active) will get boot to those stats, right now on previev gateway we have 1 blue golem with stats +700def +700 power, so i rly hope all companions will get boost.

Thank You, I will take both the Battlefield Medic and Priestess and see what they can do on Test. If they can be a lot tougher, they might be more useful, especially if any companion can heal against a base HP %. With HP going way up, might be worth looking into.
Right now it is Priestess of Sune vs Battlefield Medic for me. I took them out at the updated WoD, and they both hung in there at Level 35, Purple. The Battlefied Medic seems to have a tad more survivability so far. He gets into the scrum it seems, but he seemed unphased. He has 250 less power at 1250 vs 1500 power for my Priestess. They both give heals in the range of 4k to 5k. I am going to bring his power up to hers and run ACT. Medic might not be good for ranged classes, he might get squished. She might be best for a tighter dungeon, where at least she stays at a distance. If anybody has any input, please chime in. More testing is needed at purple, then I am going to take them to Legendary.

You haven't tried the angel of protection? It's heal is only 6% but it does it often. More sustained healing compared to the others which only heal every 10-15 seconds.
I'm drooling over the mere thought that companions can be useful.
I think every companion will be viable in MOD6. If you slot 3 binding runestones you get a good chance of Stat-Bonus + Abilitys that the companion have.
I buyed an angle of protection for my cleric. He heals me every 2,5 seconds for 6% of my max. hp and i get a nice shield if i take to much damage for 10 seconds (half the damage) and -5% damage overall. The binding runestone buff can stack up to three times which means on lesser bindingrunestones i can get 60% of the stats of my companion and i saw it several times that this buff stacks 3 times. If you now have perfect it can get up to 195% (65% x 3) of the stats the companion as bonus (not including hit points).
Then there will be new companion gear with additionals bonus like +10% healing and other stuff. So yeah, normal companions can be better than iounstone but an Liiraas Bell is a must have.
Platypus wielding a giant hammer, your argument is invalild!

Does the Angel of Protection (AoP) keep a distance or get right on you? Are any of its heals AoE or just for you? I think the Battlefield Medic also heals the group for some. BTW, thanks for the information. I am using those bonding runestones, wish I would have known about them a LONG time ago.

Companions are still getting one-shotted from everywhere. Just try running a HE with them. The only thing working for them is that the Companion's Gift doesn't reset once they die. So you always have one or two up, which can be better than an Augment companion. But it's RNG vs a steady increase so I guess we'll still see a lot of Cats and Chicken running around.

Well prolly strikers do, no idea about other companions, but Sune priestess is quite smart, she is not atacking mobs, only focusing on player, so except when she run back into pull which is not aggring any1, she may have hard times, for any toher situation, she usualy is safe and sound. I think defenders can hold enemies pretty well also.

Sometimes he stay close to me and do his job. On some HEs he trys to attack an Dragon which is kinda stupid behaviour because he has not attack skills, strangely in dungeons something like this doesn't happen. The AoP only heals the summoner but 6% every 2.5 seconds is in my opinion a huge amount of heal for a companion and you can enhance it with your own regeneration and incoming healing.

If you use Lliira's Bell as Slot-Item you can recover your companion in a instant and he get damage immunity for some time.
Yes the Companion Gift is kinda RNG but a good RNG. I saw it several times up. If it only stacks two times on greater binding runestones you get already 100% of the companions stats which is similar to an ioun stone. Yes it is not guranteed but everytime i checked i saw it between 1 to 3 times up so it isn't such a rare occasion that this Buff stacks. A big plus are the skills some companions offer, like stunning, reduce damage from foes, reduce armor, protect, heal, etc.
If we could get controll of the companion with three stances (Aggressives: Attacks the target the summoner attack; Passive: Attacks target if summoner is attacked; Non-Combat: Stands idle by the summoner and do passive skills) and a small menu to activate the three skills or let it run by auto-activation, that would be great (space on the keyboard we still have).

Priestess of Sune: 1700 Power, provided heals of Sune's Grace at approx. 4600 HP a tick for 4-5 ticks (16,000+ HP)
Angel of Protection (AoP): 2000 Power, provided heals of Angels touch at 7200 HP each
Priestess requires 0.75M for Purple Upgrade, then 1M for Legendary Upgrade, Total = 1.75M
AoP requires 1M for Legendary, starts at Purple
They both heal great out of combat with a simple Purified Cloak on them (650+HP a tick). Both heal in combat at third to half of the rate. Angel stays a little close to you, may take more damage overall if with a GF. If either gets killed in Combat, they pop back up in seconds if they are Legendary. I feel the Priestess is the better of the two companions, but the cost can be prohibitive. I am looking for more feedback on this.
