The silence is because they don't care, they implement things that are way out of wak and then ignore it when it is a obvious problem, told a dev about the missing ring from jewel crafting to produce the 2 slot rings everyone is making and still they do nothing about it. There has been three maintenances since it was told directly to a dev and still broken. Just goes to show you something that would be so easily fixed and isnt proves just how much they don't care.
That is not a logical statement, saying that the devs "do not care" - we have no idea what work has been given priority by management.
And how can a "missing ring" in jewel crafting truly be "missing" when you state in the same sentence, "everyone is making." If everyone is making it, then it can't be missing, right?

I think everyone is working on the x-box version of the game, they don't have staff left to work on both at the same time. We're simply here to alpha test stuff for future patches to the console game now.
Nah. I'd say they are busy with Xbox version and new module changes, not time to change more stuff. We all know how it takes long to the devs to fix broken stuff. But in the end, they fix it.
The wrong way.
Breaking something else.
While they **** the game in other areas.
No, they do not care. That is an adequate, simpler, and more straightforward way of saying their management strategy has their priorities focused elsewhere. There is a lot they don't care a bout in that sense and they are killing their own game as a result. There is less complaints from the players because the players complain and nothing is done then they quit the game.
If you pay attention to PtS you will see they have already 'fixed" (cough) two of the TR issues (one shot and daze) by nerfing them to the point that nobody would likely play them with the nerfs. There is still the MI one shot and while exe could still manage this the nerf is such that overall damage loss would make the path generally unfavorable. The scoundrel will still be able to daze, but it will be the worst dazing path of all three (and this is sort of funny when you realize that its specialty is to be the better dazer).

i know about the daze change....i won't hold my breath that it will actually do anything, but hopefully i'm wrong...
what did they fix/nerf about one-shots?

i know game reps rarely post on these neck of the woods, for obvious reasons
but in all sincereness, are they happy with the current state of TRs?
i think this would go a long way in helping people understand where they stand on the game
Because Vasdamas has finally convinced enough people to jump on his/her band wagon with the CW hating on preview It is funny how a SW player feels that CW's shouldn't have existed, when CW's got here first

Not quite sure what you mean regarding holding your breath about the daze change. It was what everyone complained about in relation to daze and it has ruined that path. That path is now worse at dazing than the other two so it is pretty straightforward that it would certainly do something. The main thing it will do is convince players not to choose the daze path since they will realize that the daze path is the worst path to choose if you actually want to daze.
Well the one-shots are a bit more complex as they come from two potential sources, MI paragon and executioner path.
The executioner has been nerfed in the performance of SoD. While this SoD nerf in and of itself would not factor into the one-shot capabilities of the rogue, it would significantly lower the overall damage capabilities of that path and make it less desirable overall (except I suppose as a one-shot dedicated pvp char it will remain effective). If someone plans on playing both PvP and PvE the executioner will be much more unfavorable of a choice to play and they are the path that is best empowered to deliver one-shot hits with everything about them being front-loaded into one massive hit. If they only plan on playing PvP as a one-shot toon then it will remain as potent as ever at this, although one-shot TR's generally were never a major problem and were not the TR's leading the boards (nor were the dazing TR's).

"nerfed in performance of SOD" - where do you see this? i don't see anything about this in the patch notes....are you talking about "fixing" the multi-proc SOD from echantments?
also, still didn't answer my question about fixing "one-shots", haha, SE is still there and broken as ever
i can even one shot people on my MI saboteur (daze, pop lurkers assault + invis infil or first strike, pop SE, insta dead ez mode bs)
so, i'm still not convinced they've fixed the one-shotting (actual one-shotting, not delayed one-two shotting)

I don't think they have fixed the multi-proc from enchantments for the TR or any of the other classes that benefit from this. They have changed SoD to only work off encounters, but there were no patch notes and after numerous inquiries we are unsure of whether it is intended or not.
I explained the best of my capabilities why the one-shots might be less common with the decline of the executioner path. The event you describe with your saboteur is impossible without some sort of exploit that I have never heard of, and even if it was it is quite a bit more than a one-shot (being that you describe using two encounters and two dailies).
Well if you are describing a four-shot kill as a one-shot kill then I am not quite sure what you consider "actual one-shotting". I think you need to think on it a bit more.

i misspoke on the lurker assault haha, i meant one with the shadows (and it's just 1 enc + 1 daily)
but i hop eyou're right, in the decline of "one-shots"
i really don't see what's all the fuss about one shot TR :d Most people have soulforge so that's one. secondly the one shot needs prep time as you need that first strike to cooldown before attempting another hit. And only executioner MI are the ones who can one shot. Others need multiple skills. Even after one shotting someone, the TR has emptied the arsenal pretty much. All they will do is smoke bomb ITC and run. And that one shot needs a simple dodge to waste the entire setup for the TR.

Okay, that is still a two shot, though.
I still think they need to adjust the MI a bit as it is the main reason for the problems with the TR in general. ITC and SE. Now SE itself is rather weak in PvE and it is only in PvP where it can be problematic and mainly in the hands of an exe that is waiting to load it up.

Aye I never really saw much of a danger with exe's. Sure they can one shot and then they can die. I would be curious to see the highest rank exe as the vast majority of the top tr are sabs.
Fixes should start by removing 100% chance to crit when going stealth. When stealthed, rogues already have many advantages, such as: survivability, extra damage from encounters, features and feats. Making them over-powered by adding this crit chance makes no sense. Removing 100% chance to crit will prevent them from 1 shotting, lashing blade will not always have that crit chance and SE either. so that should be a start.

I was not fond at all of the 100% chance to crit from stealth. It devalued dex/crit stat for a TR and actually makes balancing more difficult (do you balance the powers of a TR based on the limited stealth scoundrel, or the always stealth sab, or the stealthed super front loaded executioner?) and they have actually made nerfs to some paragons/paths to address the damage of others from stealth and front loading. I actually preferred that stealth took on a form that was 'visible' and could be targeted (at least in PvP) and that it granted some defense and crit and crit sev (small amounts, I was thinking like 5-10% more deflect or dr to reflect the idea that it is harder to target the TR, 5-10% more crit chance and 5-10% more crit sev) but this was before the whole rework of stealth and the class and of course now I would have to ponder it more.

to think, we're at this juncture
cause ppl were complaining about perma TRs
and the devs supposedly made it "harder"
