So i just got another artifact off-hand from tiamat

Is there anything I can do with it ? lol seems pointless to have a rng for it if its BoP...

    The same issue exists with the Eye of Lathander in the Dread ring lairs , kinda ridiculous to make artifacts/artifact gear BoP , at the very least it should be BtA.

    ...welllll, some people can get really lucky and get it on one of their very first runs. So then they can directly go and buy other stuff with their Linu's.

    salvage it for the shard, redeem for OH/MH with 6 shards after M6 drops.

    I haven't tested, but do shards bind?

    Don't salvage it: from what I've read, and at least right now, you get an Elemental Fire OH from questing in Mod 6 with much better stats.

    So throw gear drops into this extra offhand now and while you're leveling in Mod 6, then roll it and your current OH into the new Fire OH when you reach 70.

    NB: Everything is subject to change on the preview server.

    It's really simple..in several days that off-hand becomes obsolete.
    You will be able to recover..20 or 40% (I can't recall the exact number) of the refinements points you have in it when you will put it inside the other artifact equipment piece.

    I suspect that the lvl 70 artiequips will only let you to trow level 70 gear + other artiequips....(I don't know exactly...just a suspition, somone could test on preview).
    I would just keep it and check the prices of the blue items...if they are decent, I would not even trow them inside the artiequip..I would just sell them for extra AD.

    This is pretty much exactly what I was going to recommend. Keep the new offhand you got and use it as a refining stick.
