Recovery?

This is probably one of those questions that gets no answer. But when proned, my high Recovery "Toon" seems to get up much faster than it used to. Can it be that Recovery has more benefits than advertised. I've always assumed that it mostly exists to speed up encounters. But can it be that it does more than that?

It would be hard for me to say since I do not have access to my game computer now. But if my control resist were up, I wonder how I could tell what got it there.

Almost all CW that i root with my HR, they do walk after 2 secs of root, the thorn damage it's still going but rootless, on paper i should root players for 6 secs 12 secs on NPCs, but usually get rooted 3-4 secs, i think recovery actually gives you control resist.

    ???

Wisdom does. Race (Elven - ever so popular among CWs) does. Tenacity does. Some artifacts do when purple or orange. Several companions do, but ofc not in PvP sauf IwD.

Recovery??? AFAIK at least not officially...

The one thing I am absolutely sure is that the game mechanics do not always work as advertised. And I suspect that a lot of unofficial class balancing goes on. Every patch says to me that changes are being made that could affect my play. I suspect that better players are privy to all of this, and don't want to share because they'd lose their advantage. Not that I blame them. But it would be nice if players in designing a build knew exactly what they were up against. For me, as things now stand, it is trial and error.

I have been thinking about this, and it MAY be so. I do not even understand why people are complaining about HR's roots because I'm never bothered by them. TRs' daze lasts forever. But maybe because it ignores control resist. Stun does seem to last as long as it used to. When proned I seem to get up faster. This I'm pretty certain of, and this with my Tenacity down after ditching my PvP gear.

i don't think it's the recovery , but it's the shield on tab that gives CW more control resist !
