I notice since u made the changes to tenes, they became more or less useless. Lets say you wear 7 of em, and they can only proc 1 by 1. With and ICD of 20 sec mean that there is a complete waist to even use more then 3 of em. I know that the burst damage was a bit too much. But now they are not viable to slot at all. Pls lower the ICD on the tenes and dont make them a garbage enchant one more time. Maybe 8 sec would be a good icd.

This actually isn't a nerf to the overall throughput of the Tenebrous. The cooldown and value of any number from one to seven Tenebrous enchantments remains 100% unchanged.
What did change however is their burst potential.
Originally they could all fire simultaneously, providing an incredible burst of damage before going on cooldown. Now multiple tenebrous will fire sequentially while still maintaining their unique cooldowns. This reduces their burst threat while making them a fairly flat DPS boost. This puts them roughly in line with Radiants in *most cases* (read: Tanks will probably still find them to be a better dps boost overall).
This is how it suppose to work with intended change.
The overall damage was not ment to be less = all procs spread over a 20 sec period nm if you had 1 or 7.
They f*cked up as usal and made it so that only 1 could proc every 20 sec instead meaning if you have 7 you do 1/7 of the damage you should do.
Spreading the damage over time was to prevent heavy burst damage and if you are hit or hit several players/mobs during a 20 sec period the damage would spread out among them those preventing all damage landing at once on 1 player.
Even if you would fight 1-1 life steal procs healing and ccs escape would prevent some of that damage also.
Now well not a pip from the devs after it was discovered that they failed with intended change .......
Get them now if you want to use them while the price is less than 1/2 of what it rose to when it wasn't broken before this botched nerf caused prices to tank. Regardless, these will still be viable for any class once fixed, but especially OP. Terror will also provide more chance to activate for previously vorpal dependent classes without other viable weapon enchant options due to its damage proc, in addition to helping tenes bypass some defense mitigation. DoT enchants will always be an option for fast activation regardless, and the damage looks good enough to make it a consideration in multiple cases.

20 ICD divided by 7 enchants = 2.2s, 2.2s would be the gap of seconds between each tenebrous, meaning that in 20 seconds all your 7 enchants would procc.
but what is for the best is to get
60 icd divided by 7 enchants = 8.5 seconds would be the gap of seconds between each tenebrous, meaning that in 60 seconds all your 7 encahnts would procc
as a transcended tenebrous would give you 5% x 7 of them = 35% out of ur max HP is transformed in damage, and half of it it's mitigated(sometimes)
so if you had 100k hp, you would deald 35% out of the max hp as damage = 35.000 / 2 = 17.500 DAMAGE every 20 seconds or every 60 seconds. depending on how much OVERPOWERED you want this enchant to be.

2500 damage all 8,5 seconds (if u use 7 rank 12 tene) is tbh redicules damage and not OVERPOWERED
tbh i can spam soul scourge in PVE all 3 seconds, everyone deals on HE(dragons) 14-17k damage, so slotting tenebrough 7 times will be 7x2500 =17.500 in 60 sec, or 17.500 all 20sec = 52.500 damage in 60 sec (if it worked reight, ok?)
having 4.5k power and really bad stats since all boons defensiv in case of tank-PVP setup with warlock and would take 7x brilliant rank 12 for increasing power instead of tenebrough its 7x400? = +2800 power right?
so if u only take soulscourge, scipping all dots atwills and other encounters that profit from powerincrease and assume i spam only all 5 sec one SS its 12 times in 60 seconds ( i cast it much more in 60 sec) wich everyone deals 24-27k damage its on top 12x10k= 100-120k more damage, more than the double as with tenebrough (if worked right!)
lets take on top all encounter and all at wills and killingflame and Warlocks Bargain and assume this together deal 50% of my damage (i dont use ACT but will download it)
so scipping tenebrough u will deal 4 times more additional damage than with tenebrough if worked right and if it stays like now you deal 17.500 instead of +/- 220000 additional damage -->13 times more additional damage lolololo even having 200k HP its 6 times more

the enchantment is HAMSTER for PVP and for PVE i guess, it was effective in PVP when proccing together at once for burst damage, since some classess have none, now its idiotic and senseless to slot in every scenario imo
No 17.5 k damage over 1 min is alot worse then 60k damage over 1 min :-) JK couldent resist....
7rank 15 radiant is 7x700/400 = 12,25 more damage now take into account that with only dissintergrate you can do over 60kdamage every 5-6 sec that is 600k damage over 1 min and 12.25% x600k = 73.7 k extra damage from one encounter ALONE not counting at wills and other enounters.
So even if dissintergrate does alot less damage then that together with procs from glyphs(do they still benefit from power mmm) at wills and other encounters 17.5 k from tenes is not exactly something game breaking imho.
Am pretty sure increasing your crit chanse by 10% will make ALOT more damage during a 60 sec period of time then 17.5 k from tenebrous as I see it.

Slotting Tene compared to Radiant azure or dark will be a wastly inferior shoise when procs are spread out, in fact 13x damage from radiant will probably be a close call for most classes........

if you have 7 procc in 20 seconds, just imagine how tenebrous will work ona GF or paladin, not to mention their huge HP.

Well first crit will be alot more damage also and even if you debuff the power 80% it still do more damage so yes you can.
25k damage every 20 sec is absolutly nothing, your stuck in module 5 thinking. One encounter does 4 times that damage hell some at wills will do that damage.
You have no control over the damge from 7 ench if you fight in pvp the damage will be spread out on several opponents making it even worse and you cant focus your damage on one enemy.
No matter how you count on the damage from Tena as long as they spread it out during a 20 sec period avoiding all damage to land at once (and therefore also always on same enemy) it will be inferior to both crit arpen and power or any combination of those.
Lets just hope that they can get it to work as it was intended before launch(not holding my breath).

First of all, no one has even tried tenes with the intended nerf, so we can wait till it is fixed before making claims about that.
Secondly, how many of you actually tried slotting multiple tenes on PTR in lv 70 PvP at max rank before they got broken?
Thirdly, how many of you have forgotten that tenes are affected by all forms of mitigation as well as current HP, and can even be dodged, resulting in an absolutely overwhelming ZERO damage before going on cooldown, or at the very least damage which is incredibly less than what these worrisome "mathematicians" are trying to scare you with by merely giving you the maximum potential of the enchant rather than how it will actually perform in combat? The odds of proccing all slotted tenes under the proper implementation of this nerf while maintaining full HP while ignoring ALL defensive capability including mitigation, deflection, and dodges, is ridiculously low.
Lets drop any unjustified overpowered claims until proof is provided by actual testing evidence of the proper implementation rather than trying to limit enchantment diversity simply because some do not approve of the mechanics of it or do not wish to see more diversity.

all read first thread about tenes, some didn´t and posted again, all know about the uselessness of this Enchant, except some wizards (3 post above) who obviuosly can´t count till ten
I put 4 Greater Tenebrous in offense slots on Preview Server.
My HP = 111.268.
Greater Tenebrous deal 3% of HP = 3338
Attacking Target Dummy for a few minutes and the result is:
The damage of Tenebrous represent 3% of my complete damage (very little).
In each 20s the Tenebrous effect active and deal 3338 damage (3% of my HP), but i have 4 Tenebrous. Where is the damage of the others?
I test using only 1 Greater Tenebrous and the result is the same.
In other words, using 7 Tenebrous or 1 Tenebrous is the same on Preview.
sounds like a good change. No need to drop 2.5 mill on 7 of them anymore. Unless you bought alot of them cheap in mod 5 and were hoping to sell for a high profit in mod 6. TBH they were one of the most annoying broken things back in the day and I don't want to relive that anytime soon.

Actually, Tenebrous enchantments got a buff in a way. Level 70s get a -ton- of hit points from their gear. It's likely possible to reach 100k hit points on some tankier classes, which means a lot more damage from tenebrous enchantments.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.
