What's the best item you've ever got from a skill node?

Today I was in Dread Ring doing the Death Forge instance and I opened a node with a thievery kit. I got a blue Mark of Power which is probably the best thing I've ever got from opening hundreds or maybe even thousands of these things...It made me wonder what else I might find in them...I know after you open a handful of them, you start getting useless junk, but what's the best item you've got from opening one?

Don't think I've ever gotten anything better than some rare professions materials. Arcane crystals I guess.

I could possibly have received a Mark of Potency once but it was more likely a Mark of Power/Stability/Union. I forget.

Yeah, blue marks for me too. Of course, they didn't used to be anywhere near the current crazy prices so the prize was not such a big deal.
The game really does need a new source of those blue marks.

I've looted a handful of blue marks of potency. Maybe one for every hundred nodes or so. I have managed to get a single dragon egg once. It was durning a profession event. And it was the only one I ever looted after nearly 2 years of near daily play.

A dragon egg (or maybe two), and once in a week or two some Blue MoPs, and the unreasonably rare R5 enchant - the latter from end-stage eDungeons' skill nodes...

Blue marks of potency. They were rare enough that it made my gaming day when I found one. Same with the other blue marks of union, power, stability.

Dragon eggs (used to be almost a sure thing from Whispering Caverns nodes during Professions - before the first nerf) and Blue Marks of Potency.

I once did get a purple mark of potency, which surprised me greatly.

We'll now all get the minor marks of potency when we invoke in mod 6. Same thing as getting a rock :D

    Blue marks of all kinds.

Funny but one week for some reason i got like 20 Blue potency marks. Unfortunately this type of "bug" is the type they fix ASAP :(
    Now it is ~ 4-5 blue marks/month.

Be careful what you wish for. I hear in mod6 the purple marks in Dread Ring dungeon chests are replaced with a chance of purple, blue or green mark (so mostly green probably).

Never gotten a dragon egg from a skill node, but the blue marks are always a nice surprise.

Sweet jesus man wtf is it with this company? It's just nerfs across the board. The only reason I run the DR lairs every single day, except Mondays and Fridays, are for the Greater Marks. Helps greatly with refining my artifacts. No reason to run them at all in Mod 6. RNG in NW is so very unrewarding, I'm not even going to test the percentage of GM in Mod 6. Fk'em.

I think you answered your own question mate, why they remove the marks.;)

I'd be more than happy to get either blue or purple from the DR lairs but green! Yuk!

Idd. Green marks are only marginally useful during double refinement event. The rest of the time I stockpile them in my inventory and currently I'm swimming in green marks - definitely don't need more of them!

Wow! Didn't know that was ever possible. Poor chap. He must have been *really* uncomfortable in that little box. I hope you had him checked over by a medic before you put him to work...

LOL the role player in me just has to laugh at this.
