What do you think about the mode 6? GWFs, one shot will die again? Is there a test server in trying?

    GWF is back to its stat in early mod4:

    -Intimidation is useless after the nerf in both PVE and PVP
    -Sentinel still can't tank and wont be wanted in any dungeon or PVP team.
    -Destroyer still have lower single target dps than TR

    GWF in mod 6 can only pve with only 1 choose.. destroyer.. maybe
    PVP is dead for GWF, forget it!

    at least we will be unaffected by the new HR's dazes.

    Sure Strike is ****ing amazing on preview right now. A GWF curerntly defeats an HR on preview which is good news. But you have to react very fast or he kills you in about 10 seconds.

    The new HR ability will be cried about though. It syphons away too much HP in a single blow.

    i saw a DC get dazed to death by an HR LMAO so helpless, the guy can't even move an inch.

    yeh man.

    good thing we have unstoppable and sprint to counter that bull****e. trapper is squishy as hell on preview right now. you can kill them with 1-rotation consisting of Takedown-Frontline-IBS

    Agreed, they have creativity when it's about finding new nerfs.
    With this said, there is a recent post by a dev in preview forum about Unstoppable temp HP not vanishing any more once Unstoppable stops. By the way, this was how Unstoppable used to work, back in the days.

    the intimidation thing is not necessarily a surprise. a lot of people ask for that.

    moral of the story: never try to bargain your main source of damage for utility.

    Yes, we asked to improve Sentinel's threat generation. Yes, we asked to base intimidation on weapon damage.

    However, we asked to double threat generation, not make it 5 times higher. Now we have enough threat generation to beat GF unless he slots some bonus threat powers.

    We asked for 250-350% weapon damage for intimidation. But we got 2+ times lower - 125%. Moreover, it doesn't benefit from Armor Penetration anymore. No idea if intended or bugged.

    So now Sentinel has enough threat to main-tank but no features of a real tank such as good survivability, party buffs, some CC powers. Neither does Sentinel GWF deal enough damage to compensate for that.

    By now, I've no idea what devs are trying to make of Sentinel.

    The issue with the class is that it doesn't hit hard enough from the start. Gave all the damage to the CW and TR.

    It's always going to be an unattractive party member unless they can actually tear things to shreds in moments. They're not much good for anything else. If a TR can out DPS them along with crowd control then what's the whole purpose of having them.

    Sentinel delivering more damage than the two other paths was certainly a fail. But "fixing" it by lowering the Senti damage was not necessarily the smartest idea, to say the least.

    thats reminds me a game questionnaire sent by email near to the end of the beta.

    a question about gwf was: "What do you expect from gwf; what you would improve if you could?" the alternatives are damage, defense, utility, etc.

    at the time, due to the roar combo + slam, etc., I was twice more damage than my friends. steel defense guarantee my tank. so marked: utility.

    I dont know how many more receive this, but I think that most marked the same item.

    moral of the story: m1 you have the slam changes...

    realize that I always, always ask for damage. for most insane that this seems. hahaha

    Almost seems like.. you are suppose to be lemming yourself... (make sure you have full Lathander's set).. just stack HP's, DEX, Defense and Deflection. Gather up mobs... Get Threat... stay alive as long as possible... DPS burns down mobs.... die (hence Lath set)... rinse repeat...

    Kind of a suicide squad... whirling dervish...

    Thank you Loadouts for allowing my toons to be all the things... they ever wanted to be....

    Oh that's just wonderful thinking. If you never find that artifact, may as well use a different class lol.

    I'm not advocating for it... it's just how I see the changes to the Sent Tree best being applied (at this point)...

    Haha. Roar, slam and damage in the same senence, yes it must have been in Beta. Or in DnD

    the damage level of the game is not too big. roar+bf fill a daily in a single use. slam have 60% more damage and during 12 secs... perma slam=perma battle awareness... is a good time to think outside the box.
