Imperial Rod of Restraint Drop Rate.

I have been looking around for information about what the drop rate of the Imperial Rod of Restraint is. I know they decreased the drop rate late last year for regular participation and not great success participation. I was just wondering if any of you has an idea what the drop rate is for this item from the Dragons in Whispering Cavern and Rothe Valley and if it even worth the time.

    Short answer:
    Don't bother.
    Long answer:
    Don't bother unless you are running those Dragons for your Dailies anyway.

    I've never seen one and the only person that I know who has tends to have insane luck with drops in this game anyway (AkA gets both Mainhand and Gloves in IWD in the course of regular play without grinding on every character long before he can Craft them anyway).
    So unless Epic Loot falls from the sky whenever you log on, don't worry about it. It will never drop for you unless you spend an obscene amount of time doing nothing but slaying those two particular Dragons.

    So easier to pony up the 1.5 Mil AD and move on?

    I've been wondering what to do with mine; try to complete the set and equip it or sell it.

    Can't remember the exact price I paid for mine but it definitely had fewer digits...

    never heard anyone drop it. nowadays it can be hard farm that dragons, because at not peak times, there are not always players to help you killing. maybe try to farm and when you got tired just buy it

    That's pretty much where I'm going with that. I have one toon I want it on and I know I'm just going to have to buy it regardless.

    Or just save your AD because that Arti may be useless when level cap goes to 70...
