Also module 4&5 introduced a stupidly expensive gear progression that relies from the auction house leading to greater imbalance between the haves and have-nots.

It started even farther back, in mod2. Back before mod2 if you were skilled you could kill a wallet player if they had a full sets and rank 10, and you had a full set and rank 7's. Then came the artifacts, with 3 legendaries that got much harder, mod 4 just further widened an existing problem. That's why pvp has been dead and dying since mod 2.

Glyphs and class rework killed pvp. And all started with Gwf
We all know PvP is all but dead and have been for quite some time. The list of things that would need to be fixed is silly long and at this point, not worth bringing up.
What is fascinating to me is how there still can be elitist players left in the PvP scene. I always hated them, but not even when the ship has all but sunk can they let go of their toxic ways. Fascinating indeed.
People still make premades and pugstomp for a few hours in their legendary gear and fotm build and imagine themselves as gods, PvP elite. As I said, it's very fascinating. Don't really care beyond that point anymore, I only log in to sell off enchants to open lockboxes.

spot on it all started with gwf easy mod after that nothing was the same in pvp
as long as any class is easy mod people will leave pvp in long run coz
they cant handle next mod were their class gets nerfed and next class gets buffed
only a fool realy thinks that its trs fault that pvp is not balanced

If you want to talk about class issues rather than powercreep issues. What's going on with the tr has happened before with people complaining about tr one shot builds. Kind of reminds me of the beginning of BSG. "All this has happened before, and all this will happen again"

not realy
mod 1 was most balanced mod that ever was in pvp not a single class was easy mod
so bringing back some old tr myth is HAMSTER coz people will always complain
tr was never that good mod 1 he wasnt even back capper,
but being able to tank 5 people started with gwf and sustained caping, killing, tanking all in one
that
ruined pvp just now we get results of that
classes used to be op now come spam the forums on endles nerf threads
the reason why there are allways PVP player , and maxxed pvp elitist is, they spend a lot off money, as written above,
you can´t throw all way.
pvp is by far the only place where it makes a difference if you have your boons, gear and enchantements, since there is no PVE-content to get to your limits, and probably never will be, so where to go with all that equipement?
but the "money train" is getting faster and faster....
i ask myself if playing a solid game with endcontent and a little bit service would be wiser and cheaper?
