If you will upgrade existing dungeons for lvl 70, I believe they should be time gated not RNG gated, normal dungeons 1/day and smth larger like CN 1/week with saving progress.
this would:
1)make it more fair for lower gs ppl - there wouldnt be as big of a difference between BiS ppl who can run a dungeon in 10 min and casuals who take an hour for it
2)allow better loot - also benefiting casual players cause ppl cant run dungeon as many times as they want to abuse RNG
3)allow to add more loot that is bind on equip, giving good income to ppl running dungeons, without loot overflowing the market and making drops useless(a huge problem in previous mods)
4)would force some diversity making the content last longer(no more getting sick of dungeon X cause of running it 10 times a day)
5)allow ppl to enjoy and explore dungeons more since time limit wouldnt be so pressing
6)encourage ppl to get better and work as a team, join guilds since if u fail, you fail.
7)allow developers to make more epic and challenging content as a weekly dungeons and players wouldnt be so pressed by how long it takes to complete cause you could always continue tomorrow
8)alt friendly
for ppl who want to farm there would still be skirmishes and HE's
Don't like running the same dungeon multiple times? DON'T!!! Nobody is forcing you to and the fact that you'e 'getting sick' of dungeon x is only your own fault. Stop suggesting time-gates on content...we've had enough of it before dungeon chest keys and still have enough of it in campaigns.
No. Just no! The whole time and RNG gating content/gear thing is destroying PVE already, don't push that any further. Thanks.

Well then we are on the same page kinda. That's what makes Tiamat such a ****ty brainfart. Everybody and their mother can participate... I'd rather have capstone content be a lot harder and with reasonable requirements.
Not exactly sure what everybody means by time gated and skill gated. We have a regular and epic versions of most dungeons anyways. There should also be a legendary version for level 70s. RNG for loot is horrible, always has been in Neverwinter, though it's not as bad in dungeons as it is with most other things. It's either feast or famine. Like the fact that praying daily on 7 toons getting me roughly 7 of the weekly prayer boxes has never dropped me a coal ward in the years that I've been playing this game.
But as I said above, dungeons tend to be a bit better. Now I'm not sure what to do about Tiamat. I'm starting to see more failure raids then victories. Doing Tiamat content on my 3rd toon (A 12.8k gs damage oriented cleric) and yesterday someone told me to delete my toon and uninstall the game because I didnt belong in the game. So I offered to hop on my 23k gs sw and meet them in Dwarven valley and smash their face into the snow for a few hours if they liked.
Nobody should be telling anyone they cannot do content, period. And now that gear score's going to cease to exist, how would you separate people you feel are unworthy to do Tiamat?
Hopefully this will just make everyone start trying again instead of trying to coast through the raid...

time gated is when you can do a dungeon once per day/week etc. just like daily/weekly quests, any progress you make in dungeon is saved til it resets the next day/week, so in a weekly dungeon you can do 1st boss on Monday, 2nd on Tuesday... and so on
skill gated means hard content that requires certain level of player skill and teamwork to complete
they will add "average gear level" instead of "gear score"
