I noticed that the order to use some skill amplifies the "burst damage" or "DoT".
What combos are more effective to melt the opponent?

A bit more context of what you are trying to kill would be helpful for getting you a more precise answer, are you talking about killing bosses, trash mobs or players in pvp?

Exactly. DT is a half useless skill, it has its uses, don't get me wrong... but its not by any means the best encounter power the lock has to offer. Despite what all these lock builds may tell you.

If you're a fury soulbinder, soul scorch is money. My Tiamat encounters are baragin, wraith's shadow, and scorch. Yeah, it takes sparks so it had a build-up but that's no issue for Tiamat. I does good first strike damage, but the key is the dot (which stacks) when it consumes the curse, so remember to re-apply your curse after every cast.

I actually usually use scorch for PvP as well, but it takes more skill and timing. Also you really need to be a high crit build to make scorch practical. I suppose the best damage rotation would be bargain, scorch and killing flames, but I don't know how you'd ever PvP without harrowstorm. Plus harrowstorm prone is a good chance to fire off a couple scorches and they're pretty much toast after that. Maybe not dead right away, but the dots will finish them off.

He asked for a "combo", WB+DT is the only that offers that making creeping death stack more than 50 times easily.

As fury soulbinder I use on single targets WB+KF+Soul scorch+WC, the damage is enormous, much more than DT does, because u can spam Soul scorch every few second as encounter that makes good basis damage-sometimes crits for huge amounts+ dot damage that stacks.
Not beeing a crit build but lots of dots don´t crit (SS-DOT don´t crit as far as i could see) using spell plague enchantement is a good way to go.
Even in PVP under special condition SS its a killer-dot, but u lose survivability, it has to be the right moment.

If u are a fury Hellbringer i can´t tell u what would be better to go than WB, KF, DT on singel targets, never tested if HS+ At Will´s instead of DT is better damage
@charmagna- why do u use wraith shadow, thought the damage is some how low, or is it because of dot damage?

For Tiamat I do because you can cast more essence defiler and get more sparks unlike DT where you have to channel. That is only for single target (the heads) though as you need the AoE for mobs on clerics.

Killing flames (with aoe) Warlocks Bargain, Dread theft. is my combo for pretty much everything bar pvp.

the only thing you switch out is Bargain for Fiery Bolt during the clerics stage in Tiamat, and back to Bargain for the Dragons.

that was my normal take as hellbringer
now Soulbinder--> Soul Scorch for sure on heads/single target , insane crits for up to 27k with my PVP spec (all boons defensive) and inflicts Dot damage, and this every 3-4 seconds !
