The companion, Ghost Paladin is so freaking slow, while he preforms one attack the enemy has time move away 2 miles and attack me and by the time the companion is done with the attack the enemies are all dead, it's just so slow that it's useless because it never hits anything unless the enemy stands still for a minute but that won't happen since they are attacking me. Please fix this.

Never seen it in use myself, but on your description it sounds like they listened to my recommendation in another thread, where I wished for them to make companions even worse, as people didn't get that they were not to be used for anything but free pots or offtanks when soloing.

Your so right. I leveled one to level 20 and he sucked all the way.I was hoping he will improve as he leveled up, but I was wrong.I have most of the companions in the game and he is by far the worst. He is slow, does not agro enemy, basically no benefit to having him at all. Please make him useful Cryptic. He can be a pretty cool companion if fixed.

I just bought this companion and I wholeheartedly agree. The companion is beyond useless as he is currently. It's disappointing because the epic skill is one of the few worth upgrading a companion for but he attacks so slowly I don't know if he'll be able to hit anything before everything is dead or moves away.

I once was interested in his epic skill and considering buying it but ended up changing my mind because of his super slow attack and being unable to hold any aggro.

As this is a pretty old post, was just wondering if the speed or usefulness of this companion has been changed? Since this event is coming around again, was wondering if I should fight to get it or look at other rewards.

Yeah he has that long charging attack most of the standard warrior type monsters ( brute Nashers for instance).

However this attack was specifically designed to be slow so it grants players the chance to at least dodge it. There isnt need for it to be applied to companions. Its just so slow and grants way too much time for another npc monster to just wander away from it, which they often do.

This wouldnt be much of a problem if the companion can still freely move while charging the attack. He also doesnt ever seem to even hold aggro for more than half a second (when he ACTUALLY does get it at all)
This companion is so bad, the Holy Seal function should be a standard feature in its attacks.
